Audio Features
- The G4 is equipped with AGC technology (Automatic Gain Control), allowing the automatic increase or reduction of volume according to ambient noise and driving speed. You can also control the volume level manually. AGC sensitivity levels can be customized to suit your personal preferences: Low AGC Sensitivity will require less ambient noise in order for the AGC to be activated, causing AGC to increase the volume on the headset at lesser speeds than usual. High AGC Sensitivity will require more ambient noise in order for the AGC to be activated, causing AGC to increase the volume on the headset at greater speeds than usual.
- VOX technology: The G4 offers VOX technology for safe and hands-free operation of some key functions (Voice Dial, Answer Call, Reject Call). The VOX feature can be turned ON or OFF according to your preference. Voice-control for receiving / rejecting incoming mobile or intercom calls. Customizable sensitivity levels for enhanced experience. VOX sensitivity levels can be customized to suit your personal preferences: Low VOX Sensitivity will require more noise in order for the VOX to be activated, making it more difficult to trigger. Comment: Used the Scala Rider on HD helmets and talked between two Streetglides. It made the trip MUCH more pleasurable because of having communication on the 2700 mile trip. Made navigation easier, especially for riding at night.

Comment: Had the G2, this is a much better, and easy to program FM radio ststions as to where you are going to on a trip. Can talk to others that have headsets. I would recommend this to everyone.

Peace of Mind
Comment: These headsets give my wife and I a peace of mind being able to talk to one another. We had to return them because of a short in one of the ear speakers. We are working on the settings for VOX. Seem a little touchy but overall, it's great. Also the FM radio for my wife. I have a GWing to I have a radio, but her bike doesn't. Makes the trips more bearable. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Especially couples who each ride.

Comment: Terrific little units! If you use them on an open face helmet, put a piece of electrical tape over the outside of the mic, and then put the larger foam pad on. Helps stop the wind noise.

Comment: I ride a vary loud harley (loud pipes make the hood hate ya =>) and every one I talk with on the phone says they can not hear the bike and they can hear me vary we ! The speekers are great too ! yup I like the G4 vary much and the wife loves the FM/ bluetooth link to her music on her phone. We have used the ICS up to about 3/4 of a mile seperation with no problem here in flat land Florida also. This system is WAT better them our old chatter box junk !!!!
