Customer Reviews

Awesome product, awesome price.

Comment: We bought the Scala Rider Teamset last summer at another place and wow this is a much better price. We paid $70 more. OUCH. We love being able to communicate on the Harley. We went from here in northern NY to CA and back in Aug and these made our trip so much nicer. We have a loud Harley and we could hear each other even through the hard winds. You just turn it up more. :) I don't like the fact that they turn off with no noise in 3 seconds which happens when you go slow through towns. You have to really blow hard into it to get it going again. Would I buy this again. YES, YES, YES! Susie

Best of Breed

Comment: I rarely write reviews, but the Scala Teamset deserves special treatment. It is the best communications device available as of December, 2009. I have tried them all and nothing else comes close. The sound quality is amazingly good at speed as the microphone blocks-out most road, engine and wind noise. It is very compact and easy to install in most helmets (mine are AGV Miglia Modular’s, but I have also installed it on Scorpion full-face and other mod’s in mere minutes.) The range is also quite good as my son and I used it bike to bike on a recent trip and rarely lost our connection. The battery life is also amazing. The recent addition of an Auxiliary Input for MP3's/radios was a good move, although the sound quality of the speakers when used this way is marginal. The delay referred to in Susie's review on this site only happens when the units are in Voice Activated mode. An "always on" mode eliminates that and is the only way I now use it. Even in that mode, you can ride to your heart's content before needing a charge. This is a very viable communications device to keep you in touch with your passenger. The price on this site makes it a bargain. Rubber side down riders! Glenn
