I've been using it a week plus so far. No long ventures yet, only 15 - 25 miles commutes. So far I can say I feel what a difference it would make over the course of a pleasure cruise. There's little effort required to hold the cruise assist in position. My wrist just rests on the lever. Just takes some adjusting the mounting position of the lever on the grip to match your comfort and speed. Backs off the throttle easily when needed. Position of lever can be moved out of position during times like first getting on the bike or pushing/backing out by hand. But it's quickly and easily repositioned. I'm glad I got the narrow version. It's plenty to perform its function effectively and less chance of knocking it while moving the bike around. Seems like such a small, simple piece of plastic shouldn't cost as much as it does, but I didn't invent or make it. And it works and was worth it to me.
This is my second one, one for my Suzuki C50 cruiser and one for my Suzuki Burgman 650. It gives just enough relief for pressure on my wrist. It really makes a difference with numbness, pain and cramping.
For those of us whose hands cramp or go numb. Around town, it can be easily swung down out of the way, but for those short road trips, iIt's a great addition to any bike (for longer trips my bike has a bit more complex, tricky to set, stock cruise control). Standard size of this slip-on, cruise control fits stock HD 2004 Sportster throttle. Inexpensive but functional and durable.
Just got home from a 3 day 700 mile trip and no cramping. Crampbuster is simple to attach, easy to use and it works!.
This is the ticket for those of us whose hands cramp or go numb. Around town, it can easily swung out of the way but for those road trips, it's the perfect addition to any bike. Inexpensive but durable, I have bought one for my ride partners.
A little in the way in town, but is easy to remove. Also took a little to get used to, but I do like it on the road it is easy to relax your hand and hold your speed with the crampbuster. For my particular tastes one a little narrower would be even better.
