I put this on my Victory Vegas 8Ball and I love it. My only complaint would be that they send you a 3mm Allen key and the heads on the screws are 3.5mm. Other than that bit of confusion on initial install, a great product that will be helping keep my throttle hand warm until I get the factory cruise control installed.

Jafrum provided great service and quick delivery. I installed this cruise control in less than an hour with minimal difficultly. I went for a short ride to make adjustments. This cruise control seems to work well but fine time will tell when I get a chance to use it on a long ride.
Easy install, haven't used it yet, but I'm sure I will. Jafrum delivered pronto.
Works great. Not too cumbersome. Great buy
I had one of these on my old Yamaha when I bought it. I got so addicted to having the convenience that I figured I would have to find a way to install one on my 2008 Dyna when I bought it. However, I got mixed answers from several sources as to whether or not it would fit on a Harley. So, I ordered the kit for the 1 inch handle bars and hoped for the best. The kit arrived quickly, as always, and I almost immediately went to work figuring out if I could make this work. The collar was easily fit over my grips, everything assembled well and all was looking good...except...the bracket that holds the support arm to the handle bars could not be installed as the instructions stated due to the fact that the reservoir for the front brake could not be moved aside to make room for the bracket. So, I was able to make a few modifications using a simple "L" bracket from the hardware store, and bolted the support arm directly into the control unit bracket and now all is perfect...other than the weather, which I am still waiting for to warm up!
A bit of a struggle on my Honda Fury, but eventually got there. Wish there was simply 3 different sized spacers, had to cut the big one (per the directions) and it took about an hour to get it dremmelled down to the right thickness. Works nice tho - all in all, wish I had spent the money for the Brake Away, but hey, I'll enjoy that 150 buxx.
It is a clever design and would work given the right circumstances but not on my Honda Shadow Aero. I cannot get enough clearance from the switch housing wiring to attach it. I rate a three only because I could not attach and will return it to Jafrum.
Had to rotate unit forward to where I use my index finger to activate and flip it off. The brake lever almost hits the end of the lever enough to disengage it. Works great on the open road.
For around $30 this ain't a bad deal. I put it on a 1996 Honda magna and really like it. As with most universal things it has a few things which could be refined but I would buy it again if needed.
Love this thing. It worked great on my 1100 Shadow. I had to make an adjustment for my aftermarket grips but wouldn't trade them for anything.
Guess I missed the fine print. I went and bought the correct one made for the HD bikes, which is the exact same setup just with a small bracket that hangs off of the right ride controls. It works very well, easy to install and easy to fine tune. It does take some adjustments while going up and down hills. Give a nice break to the throlttle hand.
I have ridden long distances in the past and I always ended up with a pain in my wrist. Since the purchase of this Vista Control, my rides are now much more enjoyable. It was well worth the money and it was not that expensive. Very good product and would recommend for anyone that likes to cruise.
Returned it since it would not fit my bike. I confirmed with the manufacturer that my bike is one of the ones this will not work on. Rating it 3 stars since I did not get to try it out.
We bought these to try on our bikes when we went on vacation. We rode the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a 2000 mile bike ride. It's great to be able to rest the throttle hand when riding. I wouldn't have a bike unless I put a cruise control on it now. Best thing to have on a bike. We just bought one for our son and his girlfriend for their bikes.
Wouldn't fit my grips so my brother used on his yamaha 1100, he love's it said it works fine.
This will not fit the 1300. The lever bar will not go over the switch housing. I verified this with the manufacturer. I will rate it 3 stars since I an unable to try it out & offer a realistic opinion. Sending back to Jafrum. Thank you, Jafrum, all my other purchases are great!
On long rides my throttle hand gets cold or tired it is nice to set the throttle lock and be able to warm it up or let it rest. Great product and the ability to roll off teh throttle with t he lock engaged is a great safety feature.
Really like the product, it was very easy to install (just had to move the break box 1/8 inch to the left) and I can finally rest my right hand during those long road trips.
Took less than 30 min to install on my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom. Better that the cramp buster that I had on. Only giving it 4 1/2 starts only cause it don't have a break leaver diingage on it.
Really like the product, it was very easy to install (just had to move the break box 1/8 inch to the left) and I can finally rest my right hand during those long road trips. Instructions need to be more clear. It fit my Honda Shadow and I can now rest my hand when on the highway.
