The Gaerne G-Flow is a top level touring boot similar in design to the G-King, but shorter in height. The G-Flow has a height of only ten and a half inches at its tallest point, making it very lightweight, and a great choice for warmer weather riding.

The G-Flow is available in US sizes eight to thirteen, and the sizing is accurate per a Brannock device so if you can, get your feet measured for the most accurate possible fitment. Gaerne doesn’t publish their width measurements, unfortunately, but I can tell you that these boots will accommodate feet widths that are just to the narrow side of E.

Like the G-King, the G-Flow features a full grain upper, with flex panels on the top of the foot and in the

Achilles area to promote a full range of motion. The toe box is reinforced and is fitted on the medial side with a pedal plate. The heel cup is also reinforced and is garnished with a bit of reflectivity. The ankles receive a little extra protection from this rigid ankle protector on the lateral side of the boot, and this padded ankle protector on the medial side. Protection can also be found in the shin area in the way of a flexible plate hidden behind this leather panel.

The outsole is made of a very durable, yet tacky material that provides surprising grip, and the insole is removable and replaceable to maintain that new boot feel.

Unfastening the boot’s Velcro and side zipper type closure, reveals the waterproof gaitor, and the moisture wicking liner that hides the Drytech waterproof yet breathable membrane.
