Good deal,

Comment: I paid about $60 for the jacket and that's about the right price. It's not perfection but it serves several functions very well. First, be warned, the sizes run a bit big. The elbow and shoulder pads are very strong pieces of plastic, not foam. They can be slightly difficult to remove from the mesh lining. The denim is heavy, tough and dark colored. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if the color will fade. The button snaps and zippers seem durable. The removable lining is warm and has a few pockets. One of the pocket flaps is secured by velcro and the stitching is coming undone around the velcro. This happened after repeated use. Simply re-stitch it. The entire removable lining is secured around the edges by a zipper but within the sleeves it is secured with just a button, one of which has already come off. Again, this is just a matter of sowing it back on. The zippers on the front of the jacket open up to reveal vents and another zipper. Behind these second zippers are pockets. The vent pockets and standard side pockets interfere with each other; there's just too much material within the jacket and it gets bunched up in places.
Overall, I'd recommend this jacket for a biker on a budget. It provides superb insulation and adequate protection. And it looks cool.

Nice Protecton for the Price

Comment: This jacket exceeded my expectations. The fabric, although not the most attractive, appears to be extremely heavy duty. It would have been nice if it had some reflective material somewhere on it but it does not. The zippers are heavy duty and I don't really expect any problems out of them. Size seems to be close. I wear a large in other jackets the large in this one fit me fine. Armor seems adequate and is well placed in the jacket. The only thing it is missing is a back pad. The front and rear vents are a nice addition and keep you somewhat comfortable up to about 90 degrees (as long as you are moving). With the "zip in lining" it appears that it will be fairly warm in the winter. I would prefer to have purchased this jacket in the "Blue Denim" but my size was not available. Would I purchase again? Yes. Asphalt could probably wear through this jacket but it would have to work at it. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if it will shrink.

Well Worth It

Comment: During the changing season I was looking for a riding jacket. I came across this one and it worked very well. It was warm when I needed and as the temp got warmer on the ride opening the vents made the whole ride very comfortable. The fit was perfect and all I was looking for.

Great Jacket for Motorcycles

Comment: This is a great jacket for those cool and cold morning or evening rides. It kept me warm. I love the way the jacket looks and fits, but I am disappointed in the zip out liner. The ad say's it have buttons so you can button the sleeves of the zip out liner in place. The buttons are there, but the tabs for the buttons on the left sleeve of my zip out liner we're not even there. The tabs we're there on the right zip out liner sleeve. I am just sorry I can't give it five stars because of the zip out liner.
