HOW TO DETERMINE SIZE.Please measure the thickest part of your thigh (circumference around your thigh at the thickest part) using a cloth tape measure. Be sure to take this measurement with your jeans ON. Compare the size chart given below and go up 1 size or 2 size to make the chaps fit more comfortably.
|Size||Thigh Measurement (in.)|
Length is approximatly 44" and the inseam is approximatly 34". You can cut according to your height and no hemming is required. This will not spoil the look or fit of the chaps and also will not remove all the snaps.

"I wanted something different and these chaps were exactly what I was looking for. Great quality and I love the inside the leg zipper. They won't come undone when you are riding in real windy conditions. I would buy these again."
"Granted, these look goofy to those that don't ride often, but they are VERY comfortable. Their overall design is good, though I don't feel the sewing is the quality it should be. The leather quality is very nice and it's a trim-to-fit deal with the length. Definitely check your thigh size to base your size on order. The belt is good, too. I would recommend these."
"Overall, these are very good chaps and I feel good about the purchase...the pockets are tight at the top and deep enough to trap my hand while reaching for something at the bottom. Not bad but perhaps the reduced opening is designed to prevent things from falling out too easily. Great price, F*A*S*T shipping, great return and product support. Would buy again if I don't get larger (4XL currently). 6'4" @ 270lbs."
"At a fraction of the cost (1/3) of the price of Harley Chaps these chaps are excellent. High quality, well stitch and very warm. I like the cargo pockets since they give you easy access while riding."
"These are great chaps. Quality is super. Zippers are well protected. Should be great protection and they look great."
"I just got these to match the naked leather jacket. They look great together, and they keep me warm. There are plenty of pockets for nick- nacks. They look better than the model."
"These chaps are VERY well made. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a pair. Well lined and the outside pockets are very handy. Zipper on the inside leg is covered well with leather so no worries about scratching the bike. Leather is top quality. I wouldn't change one single thing about them."
"I really like the zipper in the inside. Much easier to get on and off. They also don't have that tight leg, girly look."
"Great chaps for those cool evening and morning rides.I bought two pair ,one for my husband and myself.they look better on than the picture posted. Love the pockets. We both ride and I get cold easily and these chaps are just the ticket for me.Thanks for the great gear Jafrum!!!"
"FAST SHIPPING, EXCELLENT QUALITY! WILL BE BUYING HERE AGAIN."
Fit was perfect 23" around thighs with jeans, so I went with 25" Large pants and they fit fine.. Have not worn them on the bike yet, but they are very comfortable, nice pockets.
I am a big guy, 6'4" and 275 lbs, 38 waist and 34 inseam. I used the listed measuring chart for these chaps and went with 4xl and the fit perfect. Quality is really nice, very pleased for the price.
These chaps are high quality. I am 5'11" 200 lbs, measured 26.5 with jeans and thermals on. Ordered 2XL. They fit pretty well, they are a little big so I agree with some reviewers who said they ran a touch bigger than stated. However, I like that they are a little loose so not an issue for me. I love the pockets, roomy and secure. The leather is great. I have ridden in the low 40s the last week with no issues. My commute is 15 miles all highway so I am happy with the amount of protection and wind blockage from the chaps. My only problem (why I gave 4.5/5) is the belt. There are not enough notches for me. I have an athletic build so I needed a bigger size but I also have a 33" waist so I cannot come close to getting the belt tight. All they need to do is add 2 or 3 notches and it would be perfect for all body types. That being said, I love the chaps and it doesn't take away from them, but is annoying to have the waist fall down easily. Overall, very happy with the purchase, especially for the price. Great value!
Great feel and made to last. The pockets are a must have and you'll never want to buy a pair without them. I will say that when you measure your thigh make sure you are standing. I made the mistake of measuring setting down since I would be seating on a bike but it makes you thigh about 2 inches larger that way. I had to send mine back for a smaller size.
My expectations were not too high due to the price, but they really are a decent pair of chaps. Was worried that they would run small in their sizing, but I measured like the instructions showed, ordered the size I measured for and the fit is nearly perfect. If anything I would say they run about 1 inch larger than they actually say they do but the fit is very comfortable. I am glad I did not add an inch or two like the instructions said and just ordered for what I measured. Not sure how I feel about the lining in them though. the chaps I had before were unlined and these kind of feel "slick" inside for lack of a better word while I am wearing them. I am sure it is something I will get used to though. Just got back from my first ride with them, They are very comfortable and the pockets are very handy compared to trying to get into your pants pockets under the chaps. Only nitpic I have is I am still not a big fan of the lining and the stretch panels in the hips make it hard to cinch up tight and they kind of sag over time if you walk around much. Bust still a fantastic product for the price. Would purchase again.
These chaps are fantastic! I never knew what I was missing until a biker told me about them. I use these on mornings that are a bit too cool, but not cold enough for snow pants. They are easy to get on and off. The zipper is heavy duty. The pockets are roomy and placed well. Because they are made from real leather, they are very soft and easy to fold! They fit very easily into my bag when I'm not wearing them. I love them!
I always thought chaps were more for vanity than anything else. Someone suggested I try some, glad I did! These chaps have a great price, fast shipping time, great workmanship! They are easy on, easy off. The zippers are heavy duty. The pockets are in a really handy place! The leather is very soft makes it so much easier to fold them when not in use. I love these chaps. Great for cooler rides!
They look much better than they do in the picture. I'm shorter and it was a simple trim to be able to use them. Comfortable, durable and stylish!
Price is excellent, and shipping was very fast. I bought these to replace the ones I had from Leather-Up, which only lasted about a year and a half due to very poor materials and contruction. These have much sturdier hardware (snaps, zippers and especially the 'belt' buckle). What I don't understand is why chaps maunfacturers seem to believe that all riders are morbidly obese. My recommendation is to order only one inch larger than the thigh measurement. Leather stretches with wear and after a while, if you're a daily rider, these will be flapping in the wind as the treatment of the leather makes it much more soft and pliable than the harder finish on most other chaps. This means the average rider will have to add grommets to the belt to keep them up. Right from the start I was using the tightest notch, and already they are too loose in the waist. I bought this particular style for the pockets and to give the inside zipper a look-see. Personally, I prefer the outside zipper, as I walk from the office to the parking lot, inevitably the leg of one chap will brush the leg of the other and knock the snaps loose. Then I find myself riding down the highway with one leg rolling up in the wind (did I mention how soft and pliable the leather is - not always a good thing). The construction overall is good, the leather seems solid and the stitching is holding up for the most part. (If you trim the cuffs, you will probably need to reinforce the outside seam so it doesn't part in the wind.) The liner is much more substantial than I anticipated, overall I would rate these as worth what you pay for them, but I think my next go-round I'll pay a bit more for something else.
Motorcycle riding chaps are a great way to create a windproof barrier for your legs that is far less bulky than a full pair of riding pants. They take up much less room in a saddlebag and can be worn very easily over your regular pants so they're perfect for commuting or destination riding. At Jafrum, we offer many different styles of riding chaps at many different price points so choosing the best pair of chaps for you can get a little confusing. The main difference between one pair of chaps versus another is the material they are made out of. Some are made out of standard grade leather. Some are made out of top grain buffalo Leather, and some are made of top grain cowhide. The cowhide versions are my favorite because the softness of the leather.
The LC004 riding chaps are made of 1.2 to 1.4mm heavy duty top grain naked cowhide and are an incredible value. With your jeans on, measure the distance around the thickest part of your thigh with a measuring tape to establish your size. I found the size chart to be spot on as long as you are wearing just a regular pair of jeans beneath the chaps. If you plan on wearing long johns or heated pant liners under your jeans, you will want to order one size larger. The waist features a standard buckle type closure with riveted holes and the hips have accordion style stretch panels so there is no need for an adjuster in the back. These chaps feature a total of 5 pockets including 2 hand warmer pockets, a zippered pocket on the right leg, and two oversized, expandable cargo pockets above the knees for a ton of storage. As a result of the presence of these cargo pockets, the heavy duty zippered closure and snap style cuffs have been moved to the inside of the leg. Inside the chaps, there is a fixed mesh liner that runs down to just below the knee and promotes airflow to keep you comfortable.
