HOW TO DETERMINE SIZE. Please measure the thickest part of your thigh (circumference around your thigh at the thickest part) using a cloth tape measure. Be sure
to take this measurement with your jeans ON. Compare the size chart given below and go
up 1 or 2 sizes to make the chaps fit more comfortably.

XS - 20 inch thigh
Small - 21 inch thigh
Medium - 22 inch thigh
Large - 23 inch thigh
XL - 24 inch thigh

Comment: I ordered these for my ten yr Grandaughter. She had outgrown the kids chaps and with these I followed the instructions on measuring and added 2 inches. They had to be trimmed and unless she sprouts up, she can wear them next year also. They are very well made.

Comment: I ordered "unisex" chaps first and even though I measured everything, they were too big. I sent them back and had to pay shipping both ways but was reimbursed for the price of the chaps. I then ordered these chaps, that look very similar but are made for women, and cost $10 more, but was VERY satisfied. I just tried them out on the bike the other day and they are great!
