Size Chart for the Textile Motorcycle Chaps LC452Purple
HOW TO DETERMINE SIZE. Please measure the thickest part of your thigh (circumference around your thigh at the thickest part) using a cloth tape measure. Be sure to take this measurement with your jeans ON.
Comment: I love my purple chaps. The material is like a canvas type, ideal for summer riding. I had to get the waist band shortened and had the length adjusted as well. Even though I am 5'10 they were about an inch too long and hit the ground when wearing my riding boots. Overall an excellent product which I have come to expect from Jafrum. I wish the matching jacket would have been available ...I has been sold out for months even though it is one of the bestsellers.

Comment: I love my purple chaps. They are water proof and keep you warm. They also have a liner that comes out. I also got them to match my textile jacket. The price was awesome...

Purple textile chaps review
Comment: I LOVE these chaps! I live in Florida and leather is just way too hot. These have a removable liner to keep you warm, necessary even in Florida sometimes. I just want to let you know about sizing. I normally wear a size 6. I'm 5' 2" - and about 130 pounds, so not a big girl. My thigh measurement with my heaviest jeans was about 24 inches, so the chart said to order a 2XL. (I wanted to make sure they would fit during winter with my thickest jeans). I did the "chat live" and that person said to order the 2XL. OK, I ordered the 2 XL. WAY too big! I could have fit another person in them with me. I sent them back and got a FAST refund. I ordered the LARGE, because I was afraid to order the medium. I have tons of room still in the legs and the waistband is on the tightest fitting and still a little loose. The length will have to be cut by several inches. The medium would probably have been perfect. I am keeping the large because quite frankly, I do not want to send them back again. I want to wear them now. If necessary I can have the alteration shop put another notch in the waistband to tight them up. They DO have the "corset" in the back for making tighter or looser, but it's already on the tightest and I don't want to overlap it as I don't think it would like nice - and these chaps are very chic looking! So, my advice? order your regular size. Small is probably a 2-4, medium is probably 4-6, large is probably 8-10, and so forth. While I'm a 6, I could probably wear the medium, but I'm ok with the large. I would guess that the 2XL is somewhere near a size 18. GREAT deal right now at $50 off!
