A *VERY* nice jacket! Comment: I just got my jacket (the Pistol Pete), and I've spent at least a half hour simply 'looking it over' before I even tried it on. The leather is very fine, heavy leather, not some cheap imitation junk. The zippers are all heavy duty and work very well and easily, no fighting with them like fine-toothed zippers. The liner isn't very heavy, but does seem to help hold body heat in decently. The 'Hidden neck warmer' isn't the greatest, but I suppose in a pinch if one forgot their scarf or face mask it would cover the neck and keep it at least halfway warm. The sewing could be just a little tighter/better, but it looks like it should hold up to a fair amount of abuse. The ends of the sleeves that can be zipped or unsipped would be better off with snap-button instead of the small patch of velcro that's there now...as it is, I can't close the end of the sleeve any tighter around my wrist to keep out wind if I want to. If you plan to use this in cold riding conditions, make sure your gloves have good, long gauntlets. Once I finished inspecting the jacket I tried it on. This is a *heavy* jacket. I ordered two sizes larger than I needed because I wasn't sure how much room one size would give me if I wanted/needed to layer underneath it. One size larger would have been more than enough! I have *LOTS* of room inside the jacket for layering, so go one size larger if you want to layer lightly. Everything was pretty easy to get to with the jacket worn...zippers, pockets, etc. The 'pistol' pocket looks like it'll hold just about anything you want to pack and has a few 'smaller' pockets in it for things like a cellphone or wallet or keys etc. I'm going to try this jacket out in a ride today and if I can edit this review, I'll report how it does in the cold wind and such and how well it keeps me warm. For now though, I'll admit I knew it wasn't an 'American made' before I ordered, but so far it's just as good as and for the price, well worth it. Anonymous Jackson TN
Great Jacket Comment: Good heavy jacket for warmth. Breaths well for warmer weather, too. Like the pockets. Good fit. Dale Victoria, Texas
Pistol Pete Jacket MJ70809 Comment: I bought the Pistol Pete MJ70809 Jacket 2 months ago, and it is one of the best leather jackets I have seen. 1 size larger than you normally wear is perfect. Overall a Great Leather jacket, would purchase again. Jimmy Vaughn Greensboro, NC
Great Jacket Comment: I ordered the Pistol Pete MJ708 based on the reviews I had read. It arrived just two days later and all the reviews are dead on. It is a "heavy" leather, seems to be well made with stout zippers. I don't know how you could go wrong at the price. I'm not sure how it will be in hot weather though. I haven't worn it yet but intend to on an all day ride. Frank Reilly Johnstown, Ohio
I recommend this jacket and this site!!! Comment: The jacket fit perfectly, the size instructions were very helpful. The leather was heavy but you can see that the quality was great. Shipping was extremely fast, I got my package in a few days after ordering. I will def shop here again and I recommend you do too....their service and quality is amazing and their return policy and warranty is hard to come by. LDG NJ

Please use a cloth tape measure to measure the circumference of your chest.
If the measurement is an even number add 2 to get the next even number. If the
number you get is an odd number add 1 to get the next even number. The general
rule is order the next even number. If the measurement is 46 order 48. If the
measurement you get is 47, order size 48. |
