HOW TO DETERMINE SIZE. Please measure the thickest part of your thigh (circumference around your thigh at the thickest part) using a cloth tape measure. Be sure to take this measurement with your jeans ON.
Comment: The belt for these sucks three of the grommets fell out just trying them on, the pockets are way to deep. If u put anything in them u have to stick ur armin up past ur elbow to get it out,,, but other than that i love these, they are superlightweight and comfortable. Very warm...i would recommend these to anyone that doesnt use pockets...
Comment: These chaps are better than I expected! Price is super low, quality is high [ excluding the belt, but not a problem. Pockets seem strong, but VERY DEEP!]. Zippers are good, zip-out liner is terrific [and unexpected]. Don't pull tape measure tight on thigh measurement, as there is no give in these chaps. Hard to believe this product for the low price.
Just the ticket
Comment: I needed a good solution to keep my dress clothes (required for work) clean on those days I ride in. Leather chaps a bit too hot in this time of year. These are lightweight but seem durable and should work really well. I'll be taking the liners out ( a nice feature). I am just under 6', 175 lbs and measured 21-22" at my thigh, so I ordered the Small. They are a great fit, if a little tight in the thigh, but the waist & length are perfect. Should be fine without the liners in. The belt on the chaps is fine, it's just the buckle that's a bit inferior, but that could be replaced if necessary. The zippers & snaps seem good quality. All in all a great deal for the price. BTW, they look much better than in the picture.
I am looking to wear these over shorts on hot days on a Harley. They will most likely be touching the heat shield and primary cover. Will this material handle the heat from the pipes or will they melt???
Best Answer:I bought a pair for my wife to wear and she wears shorts quit a lot with them. The are only a heavy woven nylon material like they use in a heavy duffel bag. I had to shorten my wife's pair and after cutting them I melted the edges with a lighter just like the end of a nylon rope. I think the would handle the engine case fine but I think the pipes would be a problem. For the price they are now they are still a very good deal. Good luck.
