Comment: Wish I'd ordered another one. How many times do you stick your helmet on, then your gloves, only to realize you didn't do up the chin strap. Off with the gloves to do it up, then struggle with the gloves again. You can actually fasten and release this with a set of light gloves on. Made in USA too. As the Guinness boys say: BRILLIANT!

Comment: I have this on 2 of my helmets. Makes helmet removal a snap, even with cold-weather gloves. The buckle can hang up a bit upon insertion if not perfectly aligned, forcing a redo. But overall, it's tons better than D-rings. Tip: I have found that when it doesn't "click" in properly, it's typically because only one side has engaged. Trying to get it apart when partial fastened is a chore. Back off the pressure and push on the other side to engage it; that usually is the ticket.

Comment: This is a great metal quick release. The sleeve with the release buttons is plastic but the entire fasteners are metal. Installation is a breeze. I cut my D-rings off after installing this for a cleaner look.

Comment: This is great for those who always forget to fasten their helmet on before putting gloves on, but it does feel a little awkward at first. One thing - make sure your helmet strap does not have a fastening button on it or this will not fit (unless you cut off the end of the strap).

Comment: I got what I paid for... The connection to helmet is fairly simple. It's a sturdy lock up connection once connected. However working by feel, as you usually don't have a mirror to help. It's a chore at first getting the connection made. I suggest you spend some time in front of a mirror getting used to connecting and disconnecting.

Comment: The price seems a little high at first, but this makes it so easy to attach and release your helmet strap. Sometimes a little hard to operate with gloves on, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

Comment: The only way to go. Don't know why manufactures insist on the rings. They are a real pain. Once you get the hang of the lock, it's so much easier to use. Use my with my BELL Arrow series helmet. Works great.

Comment: These are easy to install and very convenient to use. After I purchased one, I purchased enough for all of my remaining helmets. They appear to be quite durable and they do not cause any discomfort or get in the way while secured under your chin.

Comment: I never struggles much with the original helmet release but I felt it could be better. Ran into this release by accident and thought I would try it. You can't ask for anything better. After a few tries the snapping went smooth as silk.
