It was the best present ever- it is fantastic quality- really well made, heavy leather jacket with that lovely leather smell. I am just astounded by how nice and well made it is. The price was unbelievably cheap yet the jacket certainly isn't. The useful sizing guidelines on the Jaffrum site were spot on. My son hasn't taken this jacket off since he opened it Christmas morning.

I scoured the malls and the internet looking for something that was reasonably priced, and had given up until I ran across this one. I was skeptical that it would live up to the reviews - but I was desperate enough to buy it anyway, since Xmas is fast approaching. I was blown away when I opened the box today! The quality is is unbelievable! The quality for the price is outrageous! The black leather is awesome. The zippers go up and down smoothly. The jacket is thick enough to keep my son warm on the way to school, but light enough that I imagine he will wear it all day so he can show it off! My son is an average-sized 12 year old, and I purchased the size 3XL, and I believe it will fit him perfectly for the next couple of years. When he eventually outgrows this one, I am sure I will be right back to buy him the next larger size! In fact, I loved the jacket so much, I am thinking of buying one for me!

My 8 year old is very petite but the Size L fit her fine with room to grow. My 11 year old fits the 2XL. (they run kind of small so order 2 sizes up). If there was a bigger size to accomodate her height, we would have gone with another. When you purchase this jacket, and I do think it's worth it for the quality, measure your kid's arm carefully. Order the jacket based on the arm measurement.

Comment: I bought this jacket for my 5 yr old boy and 6 yr old girl to share when it is their turn on the bike. Their chest measurements were 26" and sleeve length 14 and 15. I ordered a L and it is big enough for growth but not too big. The sleeves are obviously a little long. The L measures 15" from seem to seem at the belt level, and 15" across the back- shoulder to shoulder. It measures 28" from zipper to zipper on the inside at belt level and about 32" inside from zipper to zipper at chest level. Hope this helps you choose the correct size.
