I ordered this for my 9 year old daughter. In clothes she wears a size 7 so we bought her the size large jacket. It fits her perfectly with a little room to grow. Really supprised by the quality of this jacket. She loves it and wants to wear it all the time

I got this for my daughter. I am very impressed with it. I have also purchased the KJ742 childrens jackets in both colors offered here and this one appears to be a bit heavier leather.
I recently bought this jacket for my daughter and we couldn't be happier. I am very impressed with the thickness of the leather, stitching, zippers, snaps you name it this jacket is well made. It can be difficult buying a jacket like this over the internet but in this case you will be happy. My daughter is 7 years old and stands about 4'6" tall. I would say she has a slim build. We based our purchase off of her arm length which was almost 18". We chose an XL and it is just a little big which is perfect. She will get good use out of this jacket. Again, very happy with the quality and sizing. Aloha! Kirk
Bought this for my lil biker girl for X-mas and she loves it so far.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this coat, considering the price. My 12 year old daughter is fussy ( of course) and she really loves it. The length of the coat and sleeves run short- so order up!
Follow the chart and add 1 size to it. I measured my daughter based on these, and the jacket was a bit tight. It will be good for a few months. It's to costly to send back to exchange. Quality of the jacket is very nice. No complaints other than the sizing
This is a very good quality jacket. I did have to send back the first one I ordered because it was too small (even following their size chart). I ordered an XL and ended up getting a 3XL for my 9 yo daughter. Just hoping she does not have a growth spurt before Autumn riding season. Then again, Jafrum is where I will return to for ordering her a new jacket.
Bought this for my daughter. Love the jacket. Looks great on her. I agree with other reviews, go bigger than you think. I went one size up. I suggest going two sizes. Other than that, very pleased. Really fast shipping to Canada.
Great jackey for the price. My 6 year old loves this and now all she wants to do is ride the Harley !!
THE PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT. Real leather. Great stitching. Great quality
The shipping fee pushed this jacket up from the top end of affordable to mildly expensive, but it is worth it. I have not seen a jacket this nice in any children's store. It's unique and she stands out in it. The quality is surprisingly superior. Like others have mentioned, the jacket fits snug so we also up-sized. My daughter has a very petite frame, but a long torso and arm length that makes it sometimes difficult to size her correctly. We chose a L size, two sizes up from a "proper" fit for her. At first I thought I goofed. It turns out though it was a good decision. Once the leather softened up a bit, the jacket sits well on her and she also has room for layers under it. I would recommend purchasing this product.
I purchased this jacket for my seven year old daughter. The jacket is very nice. She feels like a pink lady from her favorite movie "Grease".
This has enabled my daughter to ride along with me on short trips around our neighborhood. She loves it! It is quite stylish as well.
this leather jacket is great quality for the price. the sizing is a little difficult to follow. I had to send the first one back, but the second one fit great my daughter is 10 years old and average size for that age. the size that fit her was 3x. it has room for growth. she will get a lot of wear out of it.
Bought this for our niece, she LOVED it. Very well made and looks just like a mini version of mine. She wears a 5T, I ordered the XS, it's just a tad too big; looks like she'll be able to wear it this year and next year. Highly recommended.
This is a solid quality jacket. I got it for my little girl and thought it was the correct size. I even went up one size after reading the reviews, but it was still too small. My girl is 11 years old and re-ordered the largest at 3X. So, awesome jacket, but order big.
I bought this jacket for my 8yo. Bought an M hoping it would be big so that she could get a few years. Fits her tightly now, so might not get the time I had hoped. She looks cute in it and she loves it..
My daughter is a size Large by the chart. I took the reviews advice (go two up) and went with a 2XL, it was a perfect fit except the sleeves seemed shorter than advertised for this size; I didn't verify this with tape measure before I boxed it up for return. Yes, I sent it back for a 3XL the largest they sell and carry even though the sizing chart showed a 4XL and 5XL. If they carried a 4XL I would have ordered it instead of a 3XL. So the reason I sent back the 2XL is I wanted her to get a couple of years out of it, she would have grown out of a 2XL by the end of the year and defiantly would not fit it by next spring's riding season. Also with with the 2XL, she was able to wear a hooded sweater under it but it was tight. So a 3XL had the larger chest for accommodating a sweater underneath better and gave her the extra growing room I wanted. Additionally, the 3XL will give her some more sleeve length; with the 2XL when she reach out the sleeves would creep up and expose two inches of her arm. So why did I say I would have gotten a 4XL if available- because to me, the chest size wasn't an issue being too big, it would have given her even more room to grow or put more layers underneath, also because the sleeve and jacket length in a 3XL and 4XL are the same so why not get a bigger chest as long as the sleeves don't get too long or longer going up size again. In short my opinion is defiantly by at least one or two sizes up for a good fit and if you want to get a couple of years growth out of it bump up three to four sizes depending on wether or not the sleeve length changes for the sizes your working with but again this is my opinion. These jackets are made in Pakistan so I believe there is a lack of consistency in sizes to their labels. One XL might be different than another XL so this whole size thing its a crap shoot. I could have gotten a large like the chart said and not had a single issue but who knows and of course then everyone else that recommended going up would have been wrong too, so I think that's unlikely. As for returning one for refund, you don't get your original shipping fee back so beware if you want to disregard my advice and by what the chart says and then end up having to send it back for a bigger one- it will cost you. Don't get me wrong the jacket looks good, is quality and leather, although it is a thin leather. I would defiantly recommend the Jacket but by bigger especially if you kid has a little belly on them. You'll want a bigger chest anyway so the waist isn't tight on their belly. I hope this helps clear up peoples concerns and maybe saves you some shipping losses from ordering a wrong size.
According to the size chart, my 7yr old daugher should wear a size small. Reading the reviews, I decided to size up to a medium to be safe. The jacket iappears to be good quality, but was very snug on her and the arms were a little too short. To give you an idea, she is 48" tall and 55 lbs.Thin to average build. I am currently sending it back to exchange for an XL. Hopefully she will get a couple summers of use before she outgrows it. Giving it 2.5 stars because it cost me another dollars to ship it back for a larger size.
I ordered this jacket for my "Co-Pilot", my 12 year old grand daughter who has been going on rides with me. Going by the size chart I ordered a medium only to find out when it arrived that she actually needs a 3XL. I think the 4XL or 5XL would be better and give her more opportunity to wear the jacket out, but the 3XL was the largest they had to offer so sent back for exchnage. I think I could've received the replacement in about half the time while awaiting my refund.I can only suggest that the buyer measure very carefully before ordering is be as sure as possible that the correct size is ordered the first time Jafrum's return/exchange process is both cumbersome and apparently inefficient to take as much as 3-5 days to process a simple exchange transaction. The jacket is great, the exchange process (to put kindly) is lengthy. sent the wrong size jacket back for a refund instead of exchange.
