It's good material, i like every thing about, it's easy to fold and light to keep in my back pack, so i can use it whenever i need it. the only thing is i ordered the wrong size and i don't feel like returning it.regardless it looks good and fits good and very practical.
"Fits my Suzuki Intruder w/ windshield and saddle bags very well. Very heavy material. Excellent quality and price. Received item the day after my order was placed. Thanks Jafrum!!!!"
"VTX1300C - Completely covers the bike, tires too. I do not have a windshield, or sissy bar. Excellent quality. Quick delivery from Jafrum."
"Great motorcycle cover, perfect fit!"
"I have a touring motorcycle and a custom type motorcycle currently and have been riding for twenty seven years. In those twenty-seven years, I have had various types of motorcycles and have had to store them in various enviornmental conditions depending on where I lived at the time. One thing that has remained constant is the care and attention I give to my motorcycles. My wife accuses me of treating my bikes better than her and the kids. One time I made that poor choice to use a cover other than Dowco to save a few dollars. This was a mistake I won't make again. |I love the Dowco covers because they hold up to various weather conditions and withstand the tormenting sun and heat of the sun in the Southeast. The covers have a soft pad in the windshield area to keep from scratching your windshield if that is a concern. This pad also helps me to get the placement of the cover exactly where I want it each time. The elastic bottom keeps a snug fit along the bottom of the bike and helps to keep the wind from blowing it off. It also has plastic grommets along the bottom to use a bungee strap to hold the cover on should the wind get extremely severe. I like the plastic grommets because it keeps you from scratching your pride and joy. The cover also keeps dust off of the bikes when I have them in the workshop, which is where they stay when I'm not riding them. I ONLY trust DOWCO covers to cover my bikes and I refuse to use or recommend any other substandard cover. If you care anything about your bike and want it to last and continue to look good, Dowco is your cover indoors or outdoors."
"This cover is thick, sturdy and perfectly water repellent...now if only the neighbors cat didn't love it too I'd be perfectly happy. ||It's not machine washable so if you have an evil cat in your neighborhood to clean the cover you need to soak it in cold water and a gallon of vinegar. ||Your best bet is to spray it with cat repellent right when you get it though."
"I'm on my fifth or sixth cover now for three different bikes: a 2004 Honda 599, 2002 Harley Sportster 883 and a 2002 Honda Shadow 650. I live in sun-country -- South Florida. The covers work great, but if left in the sun for most of the day will eventually rot. I get about 2 years for each cover in full sun exposure allday. Dowco does offer a lifetime warranty on these covers that will replace them if they deteriorate like this. I haven't attempted to warranty any of mine yet however, my uncle has with no troubles. I would gladly buy again. One thing to note, Dowco recommends a large cover for the stock Sportster, however I ordered an x-large and it's perfectly snug. I can't imagine trying to squeeze it into a large -- that's just asking for a rip in the cover. All other recommended sizing has been spot on though."
I ordered an extra large cover for my Vulcan Nomad with Batwing fairing and it fits perfectly. This is a very sturdy and durable cover.Fast shipping from Jafrum as well.
Ordered the "Cruiser" size for my Harley Softail Custom and it fits snug and tight. Stays on in the wind and rain. Good cover.
great cover and perfect size
I have an 1100cc Honda A.C.E. cruiser with a windshield and saddle bags. I bought the X-Large cover and it fits well, with extra room to spare. I might have been able to get by with the Large but I'm glad to have a little extra leeway. The size chart on the website is very confusing. I emailed Jafrum and they told me they would correct the size chart but to date they have not. The cover appears to be well made and well constructed.
I decided to spend a little more and hopefully get a better quality cover for my bikes. The ones in the past seemed good to begin with but were not made to be outside and would only last a year, maybe two at the most. The sun caused them to fade quickly and become thin and tear. I purchased two Dowco covers through Amazon via Jafrum. I received them in a timely manner and have no issues with that process. As far the covers go, I will say the info sheet states the vent (grey triangle with logo) is located on the center of the gas tank but with the SP model it is on the left mirror (and the cover is all black) and the CR model is on the right mirror (and the cover is mostly black with grey along the bottom part). I have a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 and the SP is a VERY tight fit and would rather have gone one size up. The other is for my 2007 HD Sportster XL1200L with a windshield, sissy bar, and hard saddle bags and it fits great. The fabric is like canvas and seems thick and sturdy to last a long time. But with the lifetime warranty there is comfort in knowing if something does happen to them they will be replaced. Both have elastic around the entire bottom, so they wrap around the bikes nicely. So far, I have not had to tie them down at all. I have only had these for a month, but so far I like them very much.
I reordered after having the old one for over 14 years. This is a great product and Jafrum has a good price on it. Kudos for quick and accurate delivery.
I've never bought a cover for any of my motorcycles in the past - I've always had a garage or shed to store them in. I have no garage or shed now, so I have no choice but to keep my bike parked outside. I bought the Dowco Weatherall Plus - the "Cruiser" size, since I own a Yamaha V-Star Classic cruiser, with windshield and a small cargo rack behind the passenger seat. This cover fits the bike PERFECTLY... as if it were made just for this bike! It covers EVERYTHING, all the way down to the bottoms of the tires. We've had a good bit of rain lately, and the water simply beads up and rolls off the cover... it really is quite water-resistant. I also like the fact that it has hidden pockets inside the cover, for using a very LOUD alarm system, which can be purchased specifically for this cover, for less than ten bucks. I've ordered items from Jafrum about a half-dozen times, including this purchase... and I've always received exactly what I ordered, and even though I've always used the "economy" shipping option, the time between order confirmation and delivery has only ever been about 3 days, max. Great service and great prices... kudos to Jafrum International!
I have owned several of this model Dowco cover and I will not use anything else for multi-day protection of my bikes.
I ordered this blindly off of the reviews - the cover was for my boyfriends' bike. He parks it outside of my house. He was so excited to see this cover. It fits perfectly, keeps the bike dry and is a really well made product that will last. He is super happy with it!
I had a previous cover that was supposed to be waterproof but wasn't. I decided to spend a few more bucks for a better cover. This is a better cover. It's well made, strong material, waterproof and has enough stiffness to it that the rain it doesn't form puddles in the folds to let water seep through to the bike (a problem with other cover). The elastic bottom is very strong which makes it catch on all parts of the bike when you take it off. That is a minor annoyance for me since I take the cover off and on fairly regularly. But, if I was going to leave a bike out in the weather all the time, I'd like that feature and want this cover. It's far superior to the first one I bought from another store. I'd recommend this one to any of my friends looking for a well built long lasting protective cover for their bike.
3rd cover for my outdoor 2005 concours. they do the job. the best way to keep a bike running well and looking good is to cover. they don't last forever but a good investment. usually last 2.5 yrs.
If you have a CBR250 or similar size...go with the medium.
