At first I ordered the PVC version of this bag and wasn't exactly thrilled with the quality of it. So I gave it to my grandson and ordered this one. Very glad I did. This bag exceeded my expectations. Leather was thicker than I was expecting for the price. Lots of room to hold a weekends worth of clothes for the wife and I (would hold a weeks worth or more for me). I will recommend this bag to friends.
This is one awesome bag. Perfect for lugging my wife's crap around. Would recommend it to a friend.
Great size, easy install, sharp looking. I'd recommend this bag to biker.
Good construction. Plenty of room especially when unzipped to full size. It would be nice to have some Velcro on the bottom so that it could be attached to the rack a little easier. Having said that it's still a GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY!
I bought this bag for a trip to panama city beach bike week. I was very happy with the quality of the bag, all the room in it plus the duffle. I was also happy with the amount of time in which it arrived. Very satisfied.
Excellent service and the product was great!
Nice bag, wish it still had the ties rather than Velcro for the pouch that goes over the bar, with that said, still has many options for securing to the bike, lots of room for anything you may need! Great price, fast delivery as always! Get this bag!
I have a 2004 Honda Rebel, and this bag fixes my sissy bar great. Looks good on my bike. And it holds a lot of stuff too.
We received our bags a short time after ordering, that was nice. They are very spacious and well put together. We have shopped around in our home town and other sites and they are so expesites. This was a great deal. It did not fit exactly how it's supposed to fit but we made it work for us. Thanks for a Great product.
We got caught in a heavy south GA thunderstorm.. Used the cover and everything inside was dry.. Excellent bag - roomy - waterproof (if use the cover). Great Value.
Product was received in good condition right on time as promised Bag was purchased for a trip this summer which I think will work out great Can't wait to actually use it I'll let you know more when I get the chance
For the money this is a great bag just the right size to pack the kitchen sink in and still have room.. I'm letting everyone know about this bag and where to get it.. AAAAA++++++ Sissy bar bag...
Great looking quality for the price. I have spent more money for a backpack for school/work that was not made of leather. It has lots of pockets. I have not taken this on the road, so I am not sure how it will hold up, on the back of a bike. Could easily be used as a weekend suitcase (assuming you don't over pack "just-in-case") and tossed in the back of the car, for additional use.
Looks great, multiple straps and attachment points. Can't wait to try it out.
Amazing product. It was delivered on time and its well constructed. If you buy this .. you will not be disappointed. I couldn't be happier.
Great bag and unbelievable price. I bought as closeout and combined with free shipping offer. Always very pleased with quality and service found at Jafrum. I am big fan.
nice quality can use for other things also
Even with the pad removed the bar is too wide st the base for the sleeve to fit over it. I should be able to secure it with the available straps & maybe a bungee cord. I am pleased with the quality and capacity of the bag and glad I bought it besides the one glich
Awesome multiple purpose bag with lots of storage. It's my luggage even when not on the bike. Has both laced mounting pocket & nylon straps with buckles.
Sissy bar bags are a great way to add a very large amount of easily removable storage to your bike. There are numerous different sizes, materials, and mounting options available, so there is sure to be one to suit your needs.
This is the cowhide leather version of the SB1 style bag and is available in black. The top roll bag is included at no additional charge as is a full coverage rain cover.
Now, I’m not going to go over every single pocket and zipper on this thing. There’s too much. There are some really good photos on the listing if you need a better look from a certain angle. What I want to do for you is show you some of the unique features and more importantly how the mounting system works. Also, there are some key features that this bag does not have on purpose, so we can look at those and give you something to look for and think about so you can pick the best backrest bag for you.
The most important thing to remember with motorcycle luggage, especially sissy bar bags, is that there really isn’t a wrong way to mount them. These bags come with a ton of mounting options, some of which you may not be able to use on your particular motorcycle, and that’s ok. You may even come up with an arrangement that the manufacturer hasn’t even thought of. Basically, if the bag is secure, it’s mounted correctly.
The main component to the mounting system on the SB1 Leather is this laced sleeve. Simply fit this sleeve over the backrest and tighten and you’re most of the way there. There are numerous straps and clips covering the outside that can be used however necessary. The only limitation is your imagination. I like to use them to secure frequently used items, like raingear, an extra sweatshirt or vest, or even a tent. If you use a luggage rack, take note of the weight capacity. If you are over the limit, no big deal. Mount the bag backwards and set it on the seat. Depending on your riding position, you may have just created yourself a comfy little backrest of your own.
To mount the supplementary roll bag simply feed the mounting straps through the roll bag straps and connect using the buckles. The cool thing about this strap system is that you don’t have to put the roll bag here if you don’t want to. It’s also the perfect spot for your bed roll or sleeping bag. Still need more room for even more junk? Not to worry. The main bag expands to almost 200% of its original depth by unzipping this full circumference zipper.
One of the features this bag doesn’t have that some riders like is an internal frame of some sort to make the bag rigid. There is actually some benefit to this in certain situations. I often find that I return from trips with way more stuff than when I left, especially if I have visited with friends or family. Because this bag has no internal frame, it can be rolled up and stowed in a saddlebag until it’s needed. If you prefer a rigid bag, but don’t want to spend upwards of three hundred dollars to get one, simply place a small rectangular container like a garbage can inside the bag to create a rigid sissy bar bag.
Another feature included with this piece of luggage is the complementary rain cover. It rolls up small enough to fit into one of the small exterior pockets but is large enough to fit over not just the bag but almost anything you may have attached to the outside of it. If you don’t have anything on the outside of the bag to fill up the cover, be sure to wrap some bungies of some sort around the cover to keep the wind from tearing it up. I personally like to use two cargo nets. It’s ugly, but it works really well.
