On long rides my throttle hand gets cold or tired it is nice to set the throttle lock and be able to warm it up or let it rest. Great product and the ability to roll off teh throttle with t he lock engaged is a great safety feature.

"I had one of these years ago on my Gold Wing. I just added it to my C90. As far as I'm concerned, it should be added to all bikes. It took me less than 30 min to install & works great. It's so nice to have another free hand while cruising down the highway."
[" Comment: It is a clever design and would work given the right circumstances but not on my Honda Shadow Aero. I cannot get enough clearance from the switch housing wiring to attach it. I rate a three only because I could not attach and will return it to Jafrum.Tom D."] I purchased 2 years ago and thought it would not fit. This was wrong. I figured out how to install, I did it and has worked great for the last 2 years. I changed my rating to 5 stars and it is worth it. Michigan
Très bon produit et service, je le recommande c'est vraiment un bon achat et fantastique pour se reposer ou dégourdir la main droite
First of all, this is not a cruise control -- it is a throttle lock. It works as well as any throttle lock can, but certainly won't hold a constant speed uphill and down, nor can you set it precisely. I like the fact that you can just twist the grip to override it if you forget to disengage the thumb lever. The major negative is the lack of instructions. The limited instructions on the back of the package are not enough. Installation is not too difficult once you figure out what to do, but the instructions are pathetic. MORE DIAGRAMS are needed to help identify all the components with arbitrary names. Furthermore, there are absolutely no operating instructions. It is pretty easy to figure it out, but the manufacturer gives you absolutely no clues. It is good product for the money, but MORE INSTRUCTIONS are needed.
Quick and easy to install. Works great! It is nice to be able to rest the right hand for a little while without spending a lot of money! Should have gotten one sooner!
This little gadget really works, and is easy to install. I put it on my 2006 Honda Sahdow VT1100 and I'm cruisin painlessly
This throttle lock arrived promptly and was easy to install on my cruiser. Once installed I couldn't wait to try it. Now cruising is more enjoyable since I can rest my right hand. I also plan to install one on my Honda cruiser. It's a wonderful product and I highly recommend it. Thanks Jafrum.
Easy to install and took very little "tweaking" to get the tension just right on the screws. I'm loving being able to rest my right hand. on long rides. Best on long fairly flat stretches... not as helpful on hills.
Gets a high rating for value. It does what you would expect. Installation is easy. It's not a perfect fit for my Honda Shadow but that's because the grips are after market. It does work well, though.
It does everything as advertised and is a very good quality product. I commute 50 miles a day on my bike and this little baby makes the miles a lot easier.
At first I was afraid it was too cheap. But no it seems to be plenty solid and works very well. After reading others reviews I too installed mine so that I can operate it with my index finger. I really like it.
Bought this for my son's bike. He loves it. Makes riding longer distances a lot easier when you can lock the throttle and rest your hand. We previously purchased one for my wife's bike. Would definitely recommend for anyone without cruise.
It went on in 30 min and works fantastic. I can now rest my hand without losing speed on interstate to work
Easy install, haven't used it yet, but I'm sure I will. Jafrum delivered pronto.
Works great. Not too cumbersome. Great buy
I had one of these on my old Yamaha when I bought it. I got so addicted to having the convenience that I figured I would have to find a way to install one on my 2008 Dyna when I bought it. However, I got mixed answers from several sources as to whether or not it would fit on a Harley. So, I ordered the kit for the 1 inch handle bars and hoped for the best. The kit arrived quickly, as always, and I almost immediately went to work figuring out if I could make this work. The collar was easily fit over my grips, everything assembled well and all was looking good...except...the bracket that holds the support arm to the handle bars could not be installed as the instructions stated due to the fact that the reservoir for the front brake could not be moved aside to make room for the bracket. So, I was able to make a few modifications using a simple "L" bracket from the hardware store, and bolted the support arm directly into the control unit bracket and now all is perfect...other than the weather, which I am still waiting for to warm up!
Great product! Easy to install. about 30-min. Speed doesn't decrease as you ride.
A bit of a struggle on my Honda Fury, but eventually got there. Wish there was simply 3 different sized spacers, had to cut the big one (per the directions) and it took about an hour to get it dremmelled down to the right thickness. Works nice tho - all in all, wish I had spent the money for the Brake Away, but hey, I'll enjoy that 150 buxx.
Fit my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard M50 perfectly! It blends in with the right side controls. I have had people ask if it came stock on the bike. Easy to install and works like a charm!!

Why did you choose this?
Will this fit a 2006 kawasaki vulcan 2000 classic lt ?
Best Answer:It is a universal fit cruse control, so if your Vulcan has one inch bars, and the brake and throttle assembles can be separated by 1/8 to 1/4 inch it should work fine. Bought mine for a Harley, it did not work. Throttle and break are one peace.
I still having an issue if it will fit without a mod. The SOR site shows MCUVHD, seems to bolt to switch control screw and not a bracket since I cannot move MC for handlebar bracket....2008 Dyna Low....Do you carry this model from SOR ...MCUVHD?
Best Answer:It fit my Road Star 1 inch bar just fine with a spacer on one end made with 3/ 16 tubing.I have used it a lot.
