Tourmaster Synergy 2 Leather Gloves Review

Bought a large using the chart. Gloves need to be in contact with fingers but that didn't happen. A week later purchased medium textile and same problem with finger size for skinny fingers. Like the material but size was too far off to for comfort. The Tourmaster controller modulates voltages versus steady power and it fails to satisfy at highway speeds - need to plug gloves directly to power.

Tour Master Synergy Leather Gloves

Gloves do what they're supposed to do. They DO NOT have a pocket on the right glove for the temp-controller and they are NOT WATERPROOF. You will have to strap the controller to your leg and route the cable thru your jacket. Measurments indicated I needed a Medium, I ordered a XL, and the fit was right on. Ridden a few time now in 40 degree morning mist and the warmth was great.

The heat feels great!

Believe me when I tell you to order two sizes bigger than you think you need. Also, these babies are not waterproof (soaked thru in the rain the other day) so use snowseal or other water sealer. Also, they are not as pictured; they do not have the pocket for the thermostat on the right glove. You will have a thermostat to attach to a strap for your leg though. All around good glove, just not entirely what they say it is.

Again, today we're taking a closer look at the Synergy 2.0 gloves. Now, these gloves will not be available until late Fall 2013 but I wanted to show you a couple of the features so that you can purchase the best product for you. These gloves are available in two versions, a leather version and a textile version. This is the video for the leather version. To see a video with uncanny similarities to this video, but featuring the textile version of this glove, click the link below to visit our website. Unlike the original Synergy heated gloves, the 2.0 versions use either the new single or dual Rheostat controllers so they no longer have controllers in the gloves themselves. This does change the adjustability somewhat because you may be sharing Rheostat function with other garments, depending on how you have everything hooked up. But, the reduction of weight and bulk is completely worth it in my opinion. Synergy didn't focus all of their efforts on warmth. These gloves have numerous safety features as well. These gloves are constructed using top grain cowhide. They feature padded protection for the top of the hand, the ulna and the radius bones, and the fingers and palm of the hand. The radius protectors are covered in Phoslite reflective material. There is adjustability at the wrist and on the gauntlet, and the left thumb features a face shield wiper. If you are wearing the gloves by themselves or with a vest, you will need to use the extended v-split connector that is included with the gloves. Just hold the leads in your hands when you put your riding jacket on, and you're all wired up. If you are using these gloves in conjunction with the Synergy Heated Jacket Liner, simply plug the gloves into the connectors located in the pockets on the sleeves of the jacket liner. As with all heated products, be sure to start your motorcycle before plugging the controller into the power lead. This will protect your garments from any voltage spikes that can occur during ignition..
