How to Measure a proper helmet SIZING: To measure your head size, wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head. If it moves while wearing, it is too large. If it is painful to wear, it is too small. For proper sizing, your nearest dealer will be able to help you get sized up. FITTING: Open the chin straps and slide the helmet onto your head starting at the forehead. A helmet should feel snug. If it slides on easily it is too big. It should feel tight to pull down. Make sure the inner padding fits snug all around. You should feel the padding pressing against your cheeks and head. The last check for a proper fit is to test if it moves while wearing, there should be no movement if you shake your head. Place your hands on the helmet and move it front to back and side-to-side. If there is a lot of movement, try a size down.
This Dogs of War helmet is part of an apparel line that memorializes programs
that help to find homes for canine military veterans. These programs have saved
the lives of hundreds of dogs. This patriotic graphic has a matte red, white,
and blue finish with areas of gray digicamo. There are many subtle details in
this graphic. Some of them are more obvious, like the dog tags hanging from the
star on the right side of the
helmet. Others are harder to see like the eagle from the Seal of The United
States or the American Creed that is written in this camo area on the back of
the helmet. Of course you can't have a dogs of war helmet without dogs! You can
find man's best friend on the left side of the helmet and on the forehead as
well. All in all, this is a very attractive helmet graphic and a fantastic
tribute to a fantastic cause.
