Comment: I have to say that I was plesently surprised when I opened the box. The quality of this helmet is above what would be expected in this price range. There are only a couple of downsides that I can see to this helmet. This is not a major one, but the chin strap is really long, and the elastic strap to hold the excess strap doesn't work very well. So you either need to trim the strap or tuck it under the strap on by the opposite ear. The only other downside to this helmet is the interior foam shape, it is very round and created a pressure point on front of my head. Very minor pressure on the foam can smooth out the seam that creates that spot without affecting the safety of the helmet. I can say that I have done a lot of searching for DOT approved German style helmets and thought I would take a chance on this one, especially since the price was right. The best thing about this is that as far as I can tell it has the thinest EPS padding at around 3/4" helping to reduce the mushroom head look, most others boast a thing 1" thick EPS foam. Great helmet especially if you have a very round head.
