Comment: I usually wear full-face helmet, but bought this for my local in-town rides. I measured my head and it looked like I was at the end of the LARGE size or the beginning of the XL size. I decided to go XL. It's a little big for my liking, but still fits properly for riding. The neckwarmer is a nice addition and is easily zipped on and off. I found the D-rings and strap a bit cheap looking, but functional. I paried this with an "easy snap" buckle so it's on and off in seconds. I also bought the full face sheild, just to try it out. It looks a bit "retro C.H.I.P.S cop biker" with the face sheild, but it keeps the bugs out of my teeth. All in all, a good purchase, especially for a second "backup" helmet.

Comment: This is a great helmet. The first one I received was defective. We called customer service and they made sure they had a helmet to me so I could take my motorcycle classes. They were very helpful!

Comment: I have been looking for a helmet that would fit. My head is between a large and extra large. The extra large fit almost perfectly. It is a very comfortable helmet to wear. I would recommend it to friends.

Comment: I was only going to give this product four stars, because I personally believe most people need a 3/4 or full helmet, but the customer service notched it up one! I originally ordered a Large, because the generic sizing chart pointed to the upper limit of Large fitting my Melon. When I got the Helmet, it was a bit too tight. Filled out the included form, sent it back, and had a XL in under a week. So, now, the 1/2 Helmet. I have actually gotten use from the 'Neck Warmer' although it's more of a 'Neck Covering' than a warmer. Although I'm due to go to Hawaii, I'm still in CHILLY Maine. With a Balaclava for the actual warmth, the Leather Neck piece kept the wind away on those days it's actually been warm enough to ride. With the ability to remove in the Hawaii summer, it really is two helmets in one, a Normal 1/2 and a 'soft' 3/4. And the white gives you both visibility and a blank canvas.

Comment: My wife and I each got one of these and put a full-face shield on it for our riding. We liked it so much that we purchased one for our grandson and he loves it.

Comment: This was great for the money, but it is a little loud. I know use this for only going 5-20 blocks and got a full face for my 45min commute.

Comment: Comfortable. The neck curtain is just warm enough and removeable for the summer. The shield is pretty useless though so I use a different shield attachment that I purchased separately.

Comment: I own a older HJC shorty helmet in fiberglass. This is the exact style and construction come to think of it. I think HJC might of sold the mold to this company as a knock off. Glad I found it all the newer style helmets are plastic, not fiberglass and my old helmet is flawless on the outside. The inner side is worn plus its going on 16 years old too old to trust it.
