careful with the size : I had to get 2 sizes above my normal pants size... I think at least one size above is a good rule of thumb.

Comment: cannot yet speak to the durability but the look of this helmet is quite nice for the price. if reasonable care is taken, my sister will look great on her scooter.

I have rode for years choosing not to wear a helmet until just recently. I began searching for a helmet that would serve its pupose yet represent as well and this helmet is it. It is comfortable and not to bulky as in some other brands that I have checked on at shops. The leather surface over the shell is just the thing. I consider this to be a good choice for me

I ride a little 150cc scooter and the helmets i kept finding locally were either wider than my bike or too costly. Point of buying the scooter was to save on gas and it does; same reason whay I bought the Beanie Helmet. Not only is it DOT certified but it's light weight and not goofy looking like some half cut helmets. In Texas we really do not have to wear helmets if you meet certain requirements with your insurance and other things. But safety is key as I have already had a 10mph spill and walked away with road rash and have noticed that most of those on-the-cell-phone-suv-driving-housewives don't pay attention half the time thus my purchase. I went for both safety and style; and as stated before the price was at least half off from purchasing from any mc or scooter shhop locally. I ordered my helmet and before I knew it I had it as the turn around was that quick. Thanks Jafrum.

Comment: I have been riding motorcycles for many years and have never imagined purchasing a helmet without trying it on first. The price on this helmet was cheap enough that if I ordered the wrong size I could send it for an exchange and still get a good deal...The first one fit FIRST TIME and now I'm ordering a spare. Just because I like it so much. Most half helmets either look like you're in a polo game, riding a horse or a german in the second world war. This helmet has a perfect size, shape and weight and all DOT too.
