Comment: The first helmet I ever had in 1969 was a Bell Shorty. I sold it with my first motorcycle. The buyer got into a head on with a car pulling onto a two lane highway, did a somersault over the car and landed on the back of his head. His head was fine but his leg got a nasty wound from the foot peg. This helmet has a greater depth to the foam than that one so it at first seemed a little top heavy. After a little while I adjusted. I'm actually going to use it for skating and riding my bicycle as I'm 62 and don't bounce too well. I'm thinking of motorizing the bike which would push the speed up to 30 mph and think this is better than my Bell bicycle helmet. The neck warmer attachment will come in handy too.

Bell Helmet with visor & Shields
Comment: This Bell helmet ran a little large and had to be returned for a smaller size. Just finished an 1,800 mi ride and the helmet worked great. Used the tinted shield tilted up as a sun screen when sun burned & ear cover during cold mornings. The Helmet liner sides & center strip overlap is limited.
