GMax Helmet Size Chart:
Helmet Sizing Information. We ask that you use the following information
to help choose the proper size helmet. In order for a helmet to protect properly
and be the most comfortable, it must be size to your head correctly.
To find the Correct size helmet for a person's head:
(1) Measure the head circumference one-inch above the eyebrows and ears
(2) Using the circumference measured, use the size chart below to find the
approximate size
(3) Once you have tried on the helmet it should fell snug equally around the
head. The helmet should not feel too tight or too loose at any point around
head.

chart is to be used as a starting guide, not an exact guide.

Comment: I tryed on much more expensive helmets and liked this one best for fit+comfort, love the pull down sun sheild (no sun glasses) And it fits in my saddle bag. the carbon color matches my charcoal bike very good (nice job gmax)

Nice helmet
Comment: This helmet is well constructed and feels solid without being heavy. The integrated visor is nice for keeping the wind out of your eyes but would be better if it came down about 3/4" to 1" further. I would prefer if the chin strap had a snap to keep the loose end from flapping around, but it is easy enough to tuck under so that is a minor complaint. Overall I like the helmet and would recommend it. The sizing chart is off. I measured my head at 23 1/2 inches which is the low range for a L. That helmet was painfully tight and the XL fits comfortably snug.

GMax GM55S Carbon Helmet
Comment: I read most of the reviews for this helmet, so I thought I had a clear idea of what's coming in the box. The helmet is nice.
Pros: Looks, Finish. Price.
Cons: Visor too short (needs another .25-50" to it to be effective). Helmet must be moved forward on the head for the visor to not interfere with vision zone. Strap doesn't have a quick snap on it, so you have to fiddle around with the flimsy red elastic band to secure your strap. Overall a good deal, but I'll never buy Gmax brand again if this helmet is indicative of their functionality.
