Comment: Ordered this jacket to replace an old Tourmaster. Usually I wear XL, but ordered this 2XL to layer underneath(I ride all year). Fits perfectly. Not the first time with Jafrum and won't be the last. Fast shipping
Joe Rocket Atómica Review
Comment: I liked the jacket is very good quality, and the details it brings, are excellent. Hundred percent satifecho.
Comment: This is a great jacket! I've logged about 2000 miles on it so far and it is protective and well ventilated, comfortable so far from the high 50's to high 80's, with an easily removed liner that takes up very little room in the saddlebags when not in use. However, I bought this jacket so I could have a flexible option in many weather conditions. I am on the road from May to October or so every year, with my bike as my only transportation, and I wanted a jacket that would be comfortable in the heat but stand up to the occasional rain storm. I rode about 500 miles through variations of wet last week, AND WAS SOAKED THROUGH TO THE BONE. The jacket stands up to a light drizzle and mist alright, but as soon as the drops began to fall, it soaked through. If you are looking for a good textile jacket with a removable liner, this is it. If you want something that can see you through any kind of real rain, this will not work for you.
Best Answer:Spring and fall. We just started riding this year, so haven't used a whole lot. We took liner out, and were very comfortable. We haven't used in real cold weather yet, want to get chaps first. Hubby had an accident last fall, right after he got his lic. Jacket only tore on sleeve. The only thing to be aware of, my husband wears a XL and we had to exchange for a 2X. The same with mine, I wear a medium, and I had to get a L. The back and shoulder supports make them feel tight. We haven't ridden in the rain yet. We really like them, and would buy again.
All Seasons, Summer(Take the liner out) Winter (Liner In) Plus a hooded Sweatshirt under jacket, It's 32 degree's out,I wear a ski Mask under my helmet, and I'm still riding a street bike with this jacket on, Going to Buy another one, with more Lime Green,Because my HJC Helmet is same color,Love This Jacket! Plus Comes With Crash Protection.
It's a medium weather jacket, in my opinion. Good down to around mid 50's and up to about 85 or so. Even at 85, if the sun is out, can get a bit warm. The vents help a little while in motion but not so much when sitting at a light.
Since this jacket is waterproof and feels windproof, I found that it works better in cooler temps, such as early spring or late fall. With a down vest or fleece underneath I can ride well into the winter(30deg)
While the jacket has vents and a zip out liner, I normally use this jacket in chillier weather. You can layer under it if it gets cold. I live in Naples, Florida so don't use this jacket in the summer.
