Men's Detour Vented Leather Motorcycle Jacket with CE Armor 8007 Reviews:
Comment: Out of the box this buffalo leather jacket is heavy. I have been wearing it for a month now. October gave us 45 degree mornings and it was great with two layers below to shed off as the day warms up. Venting Zippers and zippered cuffs are a plus. Front pockets are not in a comfortable position.
nice heavy leather jacket
Comment: Very nice overall but difficult fit for me. I have 43.5" chest. XL is too tight at chest and bicep area. 2XL feels right but looks big. On both the sleeves are way too long. I kept the 2XL and returned the XL.

Exceptional Quality & Value
Comment: Bought for boyfriend who absolutely loves it. He wears 42 reg and Large fits him perfectly. The look, the feel and the smell of the leather is what you would expect from a jacket three times the price. Nicely featured and high quality in every way!

very good quality, nice jacket detour 8007
Comment: I was not expecting much for $99. I was surprised when the jacket arrived. Quality of leather and workmanship is excellent. I wear M, ordered M and the fit is good.
Comment: this is a nice thick leather with a liner too. I order a large which I normally wear and was a little snug till I removed all the armor, then fit perfectly. you wont be disappointed with this jacket.
My Detour Vented Leather Motorcycle Jacket with CE Armor
Comment: I just finished a 1200 mile trip on my 2006 GoldWing wearing my fashionable Men's Detour Vented Leather. Got lots of compliments on my Leather Jacket. I just wish it was a bit lighter; however, if it was lighter it would protect me as well! Temperature was between 66 and 75 degrees during the day in Arizona and New Mexico. The jacket did its job and it was PERFECT for the RIDE!

Detour 8007 Vented Leather Jacket Review

Detour8007 Leather Motorcycle Jacket Review
Comment: I shopped around locally and before I bought this jacket, and could find nothing close in quality and price. Well made and extremely warm. Another 5 stars for Jafrum.
Great Jacket ! Detour 8007 Review
Comment: I purchased this jacket because I was thinking about spending the money on a high end HD jacket anyway and thought "since the reviews on this jacket are so good, why not give it a shot" and I am glad that I did. I normally wear a medium and didnt see any reason not to go with what I normally wear; however, it is a little tight only in the forearms when wearing the jacket with the liner in. If I went up a size to a large I know the sleeves would have been to long. I wear a 32-32" sleeve and this seems to fit right about the proper length. I have not had a chance to wear the jacket while riding since it is to cold to do so, but will check back in and update my review once that has been done.
Comment: I looked at a lot of jackets before I made my purchase of this jacket. Shipping was very fast and when I got it and opened the package boy was I shocked. The jacket does run a little small with the armor in I took the armor out and it fit a lot better. I am very pleased with the jacket but to last looks good no wind enters through this jacket. I give the jacket 5 stars for the price and would recommend to others.
Decent Jacket For The Money
Comment: To be honest, this is my first motorcycle jacket. My normal size is 2XL and according to the chart I should have ordered a 5Xl, but I ordered a 4XL, and it fits great. (My wife says I look cool). My suggestion is to order two sizes up. The finish isn't perfect, there are a few small imperfections in the leather, but let's be honest, it's leather and it only cost $xx.xx, so I'm not complaining. As for durability and accident protection, I'm not really qualified to say, but it looks like in a lot of the jacket there's only single stitching as opposed to double stitching in the seams. There are some places where the edges of the leather are exposed, but again, I'm not complaining. It's my first jacket, for what I intend to do with it (act like an old man) I'm sure it will be fine.
The Detour 8007 is an armored, top
grain buffalo leather jacket that is packed with features for under a hundred
This jacket comes in two colors; brown with brass hardware and black with black
All of the zippers on the 8007 have leather pull tabs that make them easy to
operate even while wearing gloves.
The front has a two snap euro style collar that snaps back out of the way when
not in use. There are two zippered pockets at the waist on either side. There
are also two zippered chest vents to allow air to flow into the jacket and keep
The waist has a belt on either side that can be adjusted to your needs using the
zippers and snaps.
While we are looking at the side, these zippers on the cuffs make it easier to
get both your jacket and your gloves on and off. These expanders also have a
leather under-panel to keep you protected from the elements.
Moving onto the rear, there are two zippered kidney vents for added ventilation.
Other than these vents, the back of the 8007 has been kept very simple and open
making this jacket a great canvas for club and event patchwork.
On the interior, there is a full sleeve thermal liner that is insulated and able
to be taken out using the zipper and snaps. This liner seals in your body heat
and will keep you warm during the colder months. When it gets warmer outside,
you can take the quilted lining out, exposing a mesh lining that promotes
airflow. To remove the liner, simply unzip the liner from the shell. Then unsnap
the cuffs of the liner from the cuffs of the shell. The liner then pulls right
out. There are pockets on either side of the lining for extra storage. This
jacket also comes with a zippered panel that allows you to attach riding pants
to the jacket for a complete riding suit. You simply sew this half of the panel
to your riding pants. This will help hold your pants up and your jacket down to
help protect you from both elements and asphalt.
The 8007 has removable CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbow area for
added protection. To remove the armor, simply locate the desired armor pocket
inside the jacket and unfasten it.
Carefully remove the piece of armor so you don't damage the lightweight mesh
