Comment: I like it! I had to go one size up to get it to fit right across the shoulders, and I removed the back padding for comfort. Nice jacket, looks good. I wish it came in brown. We'll see how it does over the summer

Detour 8009 & Jafrum / Great Job!!
Comment: A Very Nice & Well Made Jacket. Be prepared though as this is a very heavy jacket. The shipping time was Unbelievable. I ordered it about noon on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because I was afraid that I'd miss the sale if I waited. It was at my home on Saturday morning. That's 3 days from order to delivery over a holiday. Also, although I had serious doubts, I ordered the size recommended by the sizing chart. It called for a 3X & I normally don't wear anything larger than XL. The fit is perfect - take your measurements & order what the chart says that you need. I'll be ordering more things from Jafrum.
Detour 8009 Leather Jacket Review
Comment: The jacket fit good. I was surprised at how heavy the leather was. I've worn the jacket in 40 degree weather and it's very warm. The heavy leather and padding will provide good protection, which is what I was looking for in the jacket. Can't beat it for the price.
Detour 8009 Jacket Review
Comment: Is a nice jacket but very stiff. I bought the 2XXL and fits my chest great but the stomach part is to loose. Also the arm's are very long, Gorrilla like arms, I will have the arems tailored. Is a nice jacket though
Detour Classic Jacket
Comment: This jacket is very warm and the comments regarding fit are accurate. It appears to be well made. I bought this for my husband and he is well pleased. It is well constructed, has zipper vents and a great lining. It was in the 30s here in Texas yesterday and he commented that the jacket kept him very warm. Excellent value for the $. He loves it!

Men's Detour Vented 8009 jacket Review
Comment: I recieved my jacket in 3 days. It is a high quality heavy jacket that will stand up if I happen to go down. The last jacket I bought from jarum saved my skin as I was hit and went down hard with no damage to my skin. The Buffalo leather is very tough and heavy. The zip out liner is great. Great price for a jacket of this quality. I will be back for more in the future.
Comment: I am very pleased with the jacket. It's is of top quality in all aspects except the stiching on the collar was undone. I live in southeast Arizona and on an 85° day the jacket was tolerable without the liner. It is stiff and heavy but in my opinion that adds to the protective quality of the jacket. Overall I was impressed and pleased with a jacket that came in under $100.00. I commend Jafrum on its products. My only grip would be the stitching being undone. I'd rather have it sewn by my local allegation shop that ship it back, wait four days to return and then wait an other for to five days for a replacement. I recommend the jacket. I'm giving it 4oit of 5 stars due to the stitching.
The Detour 8009 is an all season armored jacket that is packed with style and
functionality and costs less than a hundred dollars.
This motorcycle jacket is
made of 100% genuine buffalo leather and is black with black hardware.
Buffalo leather is very heavy duty and tends to be a bit stiffer then cowhide
when new so it may take some riding to break in and soften up. But, once it
does, buffalo leather is flexible yet durable, making it a great choice for a
motorcycle riding jacket material that will last for a lifetime.
Let痴 look at some of the features. Both the collar and lapels have snaps to keep
them in place while riding. unstap the lapels to allow the jacket to zipped up
completely. There are two angled zippered vents on either side of the chest for
airflow and also two hand warmer pockets for added storage.
On the side of the 8009, down near the hip area, there is a snap and a zipper
for an adjustable waist fit. While we are looking at the side, notice the
sleeves have zippered wrists that make both your jacket and gloves easier to get
on and off. There is a leather gusset that keeps this zipper waterproof. The
sleeves also have zippered vents on each arm and the underarm has holes that
allow air to move through your jacket, cooling you off on a warm day.
The back of the 8009 has two kidney vents for added airflow as well as a
horizontal pocket on the lower back. There is also a removable foam spine pad
for added protection. This jacket also has a pant connection zipper that lets
you attach your favorite pair of riding pants, giving you a full riding suit.
The quilted lining of the 8009 is insulated and removable. This liner seals in
your body heat and will keep you warm during the colder months. When it gets
warmer outside, you can take the quilted liner out, exposing a mesh liner that
promotes airflow and keeps the leather from sticking to sweaty skin. To remove
the liner, simply unzip the liner from the shell. Then unsnap the cuffs of the
liner from the cuffs of the shell. The liner then pulls right out. There are
pockets on either side of the lining for extra storage.
The shoulder and the elbow design of the 8009 hint at the presence of the CE
armor beneath them. To remove the armor, simply locate the armor pocket inside
the jacket and unfasten it. Carefully remove the armor to keep from tearing the
