Comment: Alright, for anyone looking to get the skinny on this jacket, here we go: This baby is thick, heavy and tough. That leather is quality - good stuff. The zippers are hardcore, YKK, at can take a beating. The togs on them are really good, but it feels like the one on the main zipper might give soon, you know, the one that's used the most. Detachable belt, really nice, roomy loops to slide your own belt in. The lining is really nice, and one thing they don't mention is that it has snaps inside the forearms to keep it in. Now, those vents, man. They are the reason I bought this jacket, and I am glad I did so. With the shoulder vents down and the back open, and the wind blowing through, it is cool and breezy. Careful though. When I got this jacket, it does not come with any CE armor or foam padding in the back. As a matter of fact, there's no where to put any, either. Also, the forearms, when zipped, can be a little tight, so possibly order up a size.
Comment: This is a really solid jacket. Super thick leather I couldnt believe how much thicker and heavier it was than my old jacket. It says Buffalo on the tag of the jacket. Not sure if its Buffalo leather or not. The air vents are nice to have since I live in Florida, and I intend to ride with this jacket all year around. I dont like riding without something protecting me. The zippers are nice and solid metal. The only flaw I can see is that in the description of the jacket on this page it says there is removable CE aproved armor. Well, there is no armor in my jacket, and after inspecting the jacket there is no place to even put armor, so I think that is an error on the description. Theres no way im sending this back now though I love it. I also got Skidmores water repelent wax which made the jacket more supple. Hard to beat for this price.
Nice biker jacket
Comment: Great solid jacket. I did the measurements like they said to and followed the chart. My jacket fits as described. My only complaint is that there is no armor as described. There isn't even any place to put the armor.
Comment: Very heavy leather jacket, looks better than the picture. Leather is stiff but will soften over time. Bought one size up and it just fits. Sleeve's a little too long but should work out perfectly when riding.

Comment: Considering this is my first leather jacket, I'm very happy with it. I always told myself to get 1 w/armor in it. Though I got this 1 and again I'm happy with it. People ask me does it keep you really warm, when you go to work at 4am? YES It Does! Also it's got good weight to it to. The vents on the front really helps. I just wish the were 2 more pockets on the jacket. Other than that if you want a great leather jacket this is a good for thr your money!

Well made jacket minor issues
Comment: i received this jacket yesterday and upon opening it it seemed to be a very well made heavy duty jacket. But last night i was wearing it around the house a little bit to break it in, when i noticed one of the inside pockets had a hole inside it, i figured i'd stitch it up myself no big deal. But then just a little while later i noticed the belt hitting my led and realized one of the belt loops had fallen apart at the stitching. I figure i'll try to fix it myself being it's not worth the pain to send it back and i'd hate to get rid of it overall seems like a great jacket i just think there could be a little more quality control. Thank You Chris.
Comment: I'm really impressed. After reading the other reviews I was a little worried about what size to order. I went by the instruction and it fit's fine.
The only issue I had was a very light spew after the first cold ride. (That's a wax like white buildup on the leather). A quick cleanup and some leather treatment and everything is great. I used mink oil, but I'm a litte ofd school.
Great jacket made of good buffalo leather
Comment: I was very pleased with price of this jacket. My last jacket (from another vendor) lasted 22 years before I had to replace it. I wanted this one for the vents and removable liner.
1) The liner is nice and kept me warm in 38 degree weather.
2) The leather is quite thick but broke in pretty well after a couple weeks of wearing it.
3) The zippers are true YKK and the snaps are all good.
There are two things I count against it though:
1) The sleeves are a bit long. Bought a size up as everyone says and it fits in most places, but the sleeves are long. Even the smallest size would have been a bit too long and I have a 6' wingspan. This did work out for me in a way though. With my arms down it is a bit uncomfortable, but with my arms up on the bars, the length is right in my gloves and keeps any air space covered. No expose at all.
2) The belt has some cheesy rivets in it where the buckle goes through. They are just cheap. If they had backing washers I would have thought better of them, but these are just junk and I will be replacing them.
The mesh liner is OK but I can not say it will hold up. Also, the snaps in the sleeves are attached to the mesh, so don't be surprised if you have to do some sewing in the future to fix that design flaw.
