Comment: This is the one to buy! don't spend more or less. I tried on alot of jackets at the dealers, but couldn't spend the $450+ for a jacket just to have a name on it. Quality, soft, and heavy. the size chart is accurate. I'm 5'-11" 190lbs with a 44" chest and a slight belly, the XL was perfect.
Comment: I was hesitant to purchase a leather jacket sight unseen but I made the right decision. This is a very, very nice jacket. Heavy, thick leather, not stiff, and not shiny. Very comfortable right out of the box. Comfortable in all riding positions on my three bikes. Well made. Good stitching at the seams and heavy duty metal zippers. Armor in the right places. Very stylish, not gaudy looking with all the logos and stripes that some jackets have. Can even be worn as a regular leather jacket. Just an overall good looking jacket. Size chart is spot on. I am 5'8" at 178 lbs, with a bit of a gut (my kids call it my "authority"). I measured myself at a 41 1/2 chest and selected the large size jacket. Perfect fit, even the sleeves. Just for reference, my other two jackets, one textile and one mesh, are both mediums and both fit me perfectly. And everything else I wear is a medium, so I guess one needs to go a size up in this jacket but just follow the chart. Overall a great purchase that I am very pleased with and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great jacket. And by the way Jafrum was easy to deal with and the shipping was extremely Fast.....
At Jafrum.com we have a huge selection of
leather jackets that range in quality from very good to ultra-premium, all of
them for way less than you could find them anywhere else. Some of the items,
though, are such an amazing value that they deserve a little extra attention.
This MJ535 Naked Cowhide Leather Jacket is not just exceptional quality for the
money, it's one of the nicest leather jackets you will find. Period. Naked
cowhide leather is an ideal material for a jacket because the chemicals used in
the tanning process allow the leather to maintain its porosity. This allows the
leather to breath which makes the jacket remarkably comfortable in warm or cold
weather. Naked leather is also incredibly soft and supple so it lays well on the
body and its flexibility adds to your freedom of movement. The only downside to
naked leather is that water and oils can stain it. I personally couldn't care
less if my jacket has a mark on it if the trade is comfort, softness, and full
range of motion. But, still, I thought you should know. Let's look at some of
the features. The main closure features a heavy duty YKK zipper with an antiqued
brass looking finish. The neck line is finished by a snapless Euro style collar.
There are two zippered hand warmer pockets and there is charcoal colored high
viz piping that spans the front of the jacket for increased visibility at night.
There are two zippered vents in the shoulders for added airflow and the sleeves
are equipped with a zippered gusset and snap style cuffs. The 535 has removable
CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, and a foam spine pad in the back.
On the back of the jacket you can see the expandable areas in the shoulders.
These offer increased mobility for the rider, without making the back of the
jacket baggy looking. Also on the back you can see more reflective piping,
zippered exhaust vents, and the snap style waist adjusters for keeping cold air
out of the jacket. If you unzip the 535 you will find a removable quilted
thermal vest liner that is flanked on the right by a zippered pocket and has
access on the left to an additional pocket located behind the liner. Removing
the quilted liner reveals the fixed nylon mesh liner that adds to the rider's
mobility and promotes airflow. This has been a closer look at the top of the
line MJ535 Naked Cowhide Leather Jacket.
