Since I've got orangutang arms I intentionally ordered a "tall" for the additional sleeve length Glad I Did! Side laces made it easy to fit around the waist to cut the draft up my back. Hardly noticed the 40 degree temps this morning on the ride to work. It would outstanding if the neck had adjustable closure

"I have shoped all over the WEB and Town. Great Customer Service. Best $100 jacket $40 Chaps for the $$$. I even purchased 1/2 helmet for an Extra, ended up I like it more then my expensive one. Will purchase again for sure..."
I am 6'1", 260 lbs. Broad shoulders, long torso & arms, athletic, but with an extra 30 lbs. Wife took my measurements, and ordered size 3XL. Jacket looked great, appears well constructed, and heavy duty, with good arm and overall length. But, the 3x was way too tight in chest, waist, & arms. I sent it back for a 5XL. Per call to Jafrum 5 min ago, my 5X replacement should arrive today. I would give the jacket a "5" based on the looks, quality, and great price (assuming the 5X fits). Only rated it a "4" because of having to exchange due to size it and not really having the opportunity to wear it yet. Based on my experience, I would recommend ordering 2 sizes up from the chart sizes.
I PURCHASED THIS JACKET FIVE YEARS AGO. I'M BACK ONLINE CHECKING JACKETS OUT BECAUSE I'VE GROWN OUT OF MY ORIGINAL JACKET AND NEED TWO SIZES LARGER. OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS I've APPRECIATED THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS PRODUCT. WILL PROBABLY BUY IT AGAIN.
I'm 6'4" and 195lbs. I ordered a XL-tall and it was too small, mostly in the chest and arms. I returned it for a 2XL and it is much better. The sleves are a little short for me yet and the waist is too big(I don't have a belly). The length is too long for me as well.My heigth is in my legs. The quality is good on the jacket. The leather is stiff. I may use a leather softener on it.
Sizes ran small. VERY SMALL. Would recommend ordering 2 sizes larger. Well constructed but found it not as tall as I would have expected. In real life at 6'7" tall, found the sleeves short by 1-2" and length short by 2-4" Style was attractive and well manufactured. Leather appears durable. Order process has mixed reviews. Initial order went well, was returned and wrong items were shipped, requiring yet another return shipment. Credit for incorrect items was processed promptly.
This jacket is awesome. I wear a "Tall" for most other jackets/shirts. This jacket is about 2 inches longer than any of my other jackets. It comes down to about the top of my pocket on my jeans. I do wish I would have just gotten the "normal" one but I really didn’t want to mess around with sending it back. I also wear an XL but I ordered a 3XL and the fit is outstanding (other a being about 2 inches longer than I would want). I’m ride just about year around and I do stay fairly warm with the liner installed. Overall I really like it.
It's a nice jacket for the price. With the loner in, it's a warm jacket. Size is right on if you use the size chart. After a years use, the seams are starting to fray a little bit, otherwise I would have give it 5 stars
Great Jacket, a little tight in the shoulder and arms, but otherwise great!.
Great jacket for the price. My son bought his and I tried his on and loved it. Comfortable fit, good weight, durable (although I don't recommend testing it like I did) Would recommend this jacket to anyone who is tall and long armed.
I ordered my Jacket on sunday and got it on wednesday. fast shipping. the jacket has good weight to it. i have been wearing it in the mornings and its been like 30's to the 40's and it keeps me warm. even when its like 50 to 60 out side its not bad. Im 6'4" and I ordered one size bigger. Glad i did. GREAT JACKET for the price.
I am 6'5", 225, athletic build, blue eyes (OK maybe that is irrelevant) and the XL tall jacket fits awesome. I was a bit hesitant to get this jacket because the picture does not do it justice, but decided for the price to give it a shot. I think this jacket looks great and is a very solid build. For the money, I haven't seen anything come close to this when looking in the shops. Built in CE rated armor in the shoulders and elbows would be great and I would probably pay some extra cash for that. But that being said, there is some reinforcement in the higher impact areas, and with thick leather, I think there is a good amount of protection anyway. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone, especially for tall people with limited budgets, who are sick of cloths with sleeves and torsos that are too short.
The "jacket" fits very good in the shoulders and arm length I'm 5' 10" 167 lbs. Standing the arm length is perfect. Going by other reviews I ordered the large tall. I would normally order a xl to get the arm length. As stated the fit is good in the arms and shoulders as well as the body. The bad is, as I had read in another review it has the length of a coat. Looking at the picture of the jacket the arms are longer than the body but this is not true to the actual product. The body is just as long as the arms. I admit this is designed for a sport bike so this may be ok but for a cruiser the length is too long. When you reach for the grips the sleeves pull up above the wrist not bad but not as expected. It seems to be in the "cut" of the body and sleeves. I'm going to keep the jacket just going to modify it a little bit
I am 6'7" and 275lbs and this jacket fit me well and the sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists when I have my arms extended to my grips. I ordered the 3X and is a good fit with the liner in a bit loose without but not bad a 2X may have fit a bit snugger. Lacing on the side provides a snug fit to keep the draft out and the bottom from creeping up. Heavy duty leather and not as stiff as I thought a new jacket would be. Overall good choice and a great price,
Very nice jacket, unfortunately they sent the wrong size, customer service was great, but they were out of the correct size when I got mine, would only refund, not reserve one for me. Now the price has gone up. Still a good deal on a very well made product. I only hope the price doesn't go up again before my size comes back in stock! Sizing seemed accurate.
The MJ470 is made of 1.2 -- 1.3mm top grain, naked cowhide leather and features antiqued brass looking hardware. The fit is spot on if you are wearing over a tshirt but you may want to order a size larger than your chest measurement calls for if you plan on wearing a hoody or heavy liner. The Tall size features longer arms and torso for taller riders. The regular size and tall sized jackets have separate listings so pay special attention to be sure you get the correct item on order. The main closure features a heavy duty metal zipper and the neck has a 2 snap Euro style collar. The front of the jacket features two zippered vents for added airflow and two zippered hand warmer pockets. Adjustability is facilitated by these laced expanders on the sides and the sleeves are equipped with zippered gussets for easy on and off. On the back of the 470 you can see the expandable shoulder panels, the zippered exhaust vents, and the quilted lower back pad. Opening the jacket up exposes the removable, full sleeve quilted liner that is flanked on the left side by a snap pocket. Removing the liner exposes a fixed nylon mesh liner that promotes airflow and mobility.
