Comment: I oredered it, came in two days. It was a perfect fit, nice and heavy, everything great but the only problem was I thought it was black so I shipped it back and got a refund.
A real heavyweight
Comment: This jacket is as full featured and heavy as any I have seen. The removable liner is a bit of a job but very handy to have. I wear a size 50 or 52 suit coat and ordered a 4XL. The fit is just right for those days when you need an extra layer underneath. This is not a warm weather jacket! Get something lighter for summer.
Comment: This is an excellent value. well constructed good fit. I've ordered several item here...never disappointed.

I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and feel of this jacket and with the service I got from Jafrum. Less than a week from order to deliver. Jafrum has a returning customer for life in me. 100% pleased!
Detour Leather Jacket
Comment: The first time I touched this jacked I knew I got a great deal. Heavy duty to be sure, soft for comfort and the color was right on the money. I had friends guess it cost more than double what it did. If you're looking for a great brown biker jacket, this is it!
Comment: Very satisfied with this jacket, just what I was looking for, almost black but not. Looks good, feels good, with good fit. Great match with chaps 8551. Will shop Jafrum again, and spreed the word of the deals.
Comment: Very thick leather and nice heavy feed to the jacket, exactly what I was looking for. Nice color of dark brown which I love!
Detour Brown Leather Jacket!
Comment: Good jacket! I'm a everyday rider, been caught in some 40 degree weather, and jacket holds up! Brown is like the avators of WWII. Really dark! Just what I wanted! Order your chest size. Next size up is a little loose.

Comment: I was worried but its better then my 20 year old Wilson leather that looks the same. heavier and less than 1/2 the price of 20 yrs ago 6'2 and 230 got a 2xl
Outstanding Value! Detour Retro Brown Jacket
Comment: I can't over state the quality of this jacket. This is a heavy duty jacket that keep you warm on those cold rides. The look is old school and feels great. There is a removal liner for those that don't want too much warmth. Great leather qualify. Shipping was fast and you can't beat the price for such a great jacket.
Comment: I ordered this jacket for my husband for Christmas. It was so much nicer than it looked in the picture. He is very pleased. Weight wise, it is a heavy jacket. It seems durable. He rode his bike with it on a day that it was around 50 degrees and he was quite warm with the liner. He is very happy with the jacket and with me!
Big Bang for the Buck
Comment: Very good quality and low cost compared to other jackets in this style.
I normally wear a Large as I'm 5'6" and 162 pounds. I took a chance and ordered the Large even though I considered going a size larger. It fits pretty snug with the liner in, but just about perfect with it out. I was concerned going a size larger would result in the sleeves being too long.
It would be a lot more helpful if the Size Chart included Shoulder and Sleeve measurements as well as the Chest size.
So far I'm very pleased with the jacket. It looks and feels great. I may buy the matching chaps in the future.
I have been checking on this item in a large for weeks. Will it ever be back?

Best Answer:I am generally a small but went up to the medium, and it fits perfect. Still room to layer up underneath. If you're generally a large you may want to size up to an xtra large if available. I believe the large was available when I made my purchase. Hope this helps...
Hello I ordered this jacket in a large size it was to small I reordered an extra large it fits real nice I would order an extra large if I were you! Hope I was helpful A very satisfied customer thanks John
The Detour 8008 made of 100%
genuine buffalo leather and is packed with style and functionality for under a
Buffalo leather is very heavy duty and tends to be a bit stiffer then cowhide
when new so it may take some riding to break in and soften up. But, once it
does, your buffalo leather will be durable yet flexible, making it a great
choice for a motorcycle
riding jacket material that will last for a lifetime.
The 8008 is brown with brass hardware which adds to its already retro look. All
of the zippers have leather pull tabs to make them easier to operate while
Both the collar and lapels have snaps to keep them in place while riding. Unsnap
the lapels and you can zip up one flap over the other to create a dual layer
barrier against wind and weather. There are leather straps that snap down on
each shoulder for added style. On a uniform, these would have been used for
mounting epaulettes or holding a strap for supporting a scabbard or a pistol. I
use mine for holding my glasses when I知 off of the bike. There is an angled
zippered pocket on the chest and two hand warmer pockets that play to the retro
look as does the snaped coin pocket on the stomach portion of the jacket.
The interior has a removable thermal liner. This liner seals in your body heat
and will keep you warm during the colder months. On warm days, you can take the
quilted liner out, exposing a silky lining that allows the jacket to move freely
on your body for excellent mobility. To remove the liner, simply unzip the liner
from the shell. Then unsnap the cuffs of the liner from the cuffs of the shell.
The liner then pulls right out.
The detour 8008 has numerous features that add to its overall adjustability. You
will find a laced expander in the lower rib area and a half-belt at the waist
that can be adjusted to meet your fitment needs. On the sleeves, you will find
zippered gussets that allow for easy jacket and glove removal.
Detour has kept the back of the 8008 very simple and clean looking. There are
flex areas in the shoulders for added mobility and thats about it, making this a
great choice for riders looking for a place to put some patchwork.
