I wanted to wait at least a week before writing my review. This is a really nice leather motorcycle jacket! Kept me nicely warm in 50 degree windy rides. Vents near shoulders are so tiny that I don't think they will make any difference open when it's hot. My wife was shocked how good it looked on me (I think she was wooing me) out and about someone also complement the jacket too. One word of caution if you have any type of a stomach (spare tire) it will be too tight! I'm 6 foot 179 lbs. with zero stomach and the medium fits comfortably snug, had I the slightest stomach it would be uncomfortable and a larger size would lose that athletic trim fit. But some guys like a larger loose fitting jacket

Love the jacket. Keeps me warm and comfortable. The only problem I have with it is that the left shoulder vent zipper appears not to have been attached when I received it. So I can't close it as I just discovered last night. My wife is very handy with a needle and thread so she'll see if she can sew it on.
Read the measuring instructions and the tape said 2X but I have never worn 2X and ordered XL. Did not fit but no way was I going to 2X. Spent the summer losing the 20 pounds and jacket fits and looks great. I did not care for the vents and took the jacket in to have the zippers removed and the flaps sewn shut. They did not do much anyway and I like the nice clean look. The Jacket is comfortable in all riding positions, moves freely, the leather is thick and heavy in a good way, and seems like it will be a durable quality jacket.
This is one really nice heavy leather jacket . Far exceeded my expectations. Have worn it in 40 degree weather and it kept me warm. I'm 5-10 ,190 pounds ordered an XL and it fit perfect.
I ordered a 40 and it fits fine. I like the armor and was surprised to find it in the back too. Nice touch. First day I road with it I got caught in the rain. Just a little, no problem. Im 70 years old yet the girls give me a different look with this jacket on. Go figure.
This is the best Leather jacket you could get for under $500.00.
This is the one to buy! don't spend more or less. I tried on alot of jackets at the dealers, but couldn't spend the $450+ for a jacket just to have a name on it. Quality, soft, and heavy. the size chart is accurate. I'm 5'-11" 190lbs with a 44" chest and a slight belly, the XL was perfect.
I was hesitant to purchase a leather jacket sight unseen but I made the right decision. This is a very, very nice jacket. Heavy, thick leather, not stiff, and not shiny. Very comfortable right out of the box. Comfortable in all riding positions on my three bikes. Well made. Good stitching at the seams and heavy duty metal zippers. Armor in the right places. Very stylish, not gaudy looking with all the logos and stripes that some jackets have. Can even be worn as a regular leather jacket. Just an overall good looking jacket. Size chart is spot on. I am 5'8" at 178 lbs, with a bit of a gut (my kids call it my "authority"). I measured myself at a 41 1/2 chest and selected the large size jacket. Perfect fit, even the sleeves. Just for reference, my other two jackets, one textile and one mesh, are both mediums and both fit me perfectly. And everything else I wear is a medium, so I guess one needs to go a size up in this jacket but just follow the chart. Overall a great purchase that I am very pleased with and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great jacket. And by the way Jafrum was easy to deal with and the shipping was extremely Fast.....
Jacket looks great. leather feels good. fits well. looks nice. I am 6ft 175lbs. Large fits nicely. Good armor protection on the arms. Front vents could be little longer. Like the additional pocket in the removable inner liner. Over all a very nice jacket. I recommend!
I gave this to my husband for our anniversary and was pretty leery about a jacket this affordable. I was sooo pleasantly surprised when I received it! We both agree that the leather is nice and soft and he loves that the pads are removable so he can wear it when he's not riding. The invisible reflective strip is really nice! I almost didn't notice it. The fit is great for him: he is 5'10", 195 lbs and a muscular slim fit build. I went with the XL so he could be comfortable with a Hoodie underneath.
The only thing I am cautious about is how the zipper catches a bit on the strips across the chest. We will see how it wears, but I am thrilled and he loves it!
At Jafrum.com we have a huge selection of leather jackets that range in quality from very good to ultra-premium, all of them for way less than you could find them anywhere else. Some of the items, though, are such an amazing value that they deserve a little extra attention. This MJ535 Naked Cowhide Leather Jacket is not just exceptional quality for the money, it's one of the nicest leather jackets you will find. Period. Naked cowhide leather is an ideal material for a jacket because the chemicals used in the tanning process allow the leather to maintain its porosity. This allows the leather to breath which makes the jacket remarkably comfortable in warm or cold weather. Naked leather is also incredibly soft and supple so it lays well on the body and its flexibility adds to your freedom of movement. The only downside to naked leather is that water and oils can stain it. I personally couldn't care less if my jacket has a mark on it if the trade is comfort, softness, and full range of motion. But, still, I thought you should know. Let's look at some of the features. The main closure features a heavy duty YKK zipper with an antiqued brass looking finish. The neck line is finished by a snapless Euro style collar. There are two zippered hand warmer pockets and there is charcoal colored high viz piping that spans the front of the jacket for increased visibility at night. There are two zippered vents in the shoulders for added airflow and the sleeves are equipped with a zippered gusset and snap style cuffs. The 535 has removable CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, and a foam spine pad in the back. On the back of the jacket you can see the expandable areas in the shoulders. These offer increased mobility for the rider, without making the back of the jacket baggy looking. Also on the back you can see more reflective piping, zippered exhaust vents, and the snap style waist adjusters for keeping cold air out of the jacket. If you unzip the 535 you will find a removable quilted thermal vest liner that is flanked on the right by a zippered pocket and has access on the left to an additional pocket located behind the liner. Removing the quilted liner reveals the fixed nylon mesh liner that adds to the rider's mobility and promotes airflow. This has been a closer look at the top of the line MJ535 Naked Cowhide Leather Jacket.
