Comment: SWEET Bill F'n Murray shirt!!! KCCO
Comment: Great jacket, thick, warm outstanding quality The sleeves are a inch or so too long. Cant beat the price. River Road jacket under $100.( I would have given 5 stars)
Comment: Received this jacket in about 5 days. Opened the box and tried it on. The quality is superb and it fit me perfectly. I love the zip off sleeves for those days when only a vest is required. I'm sold on Jafrum and will order more in the future. The price is excellent!!!
A bit snug
Comment: This is a very well made jacket. The features it has along with the great price were the reasons I chose it. Unfortunately, it is cut a bit low in the armpit area. While the jacket I ordered fit me fine in every other way, the armpits were too tight so I opted to return it.

Comment: It's a well made jacket, high quality leather, good zippers, nice and subtle detail on the sides. Fits real well around chest, shoulders, waist. The only problem that I found, and the reason I had to return it, is that the sleeves don't have a tight clasp or zipper at the wrist. So, when you're riding, the wind goes in thru the sleeves at the wrist, and when you're not riding and just standing with your arms by your side, the sleeves hang below my knuckles, almost covering my entire hand. Ridic.
Small detail, but critical. A

Comment: I got it for Christmas, I like it! Nice leather and detail...kinda wish the cuffs were more snug but other than that...
River Road Mortar Jacket Review
Comment: This is a great leather motorcycle riding jacket. This sizing was spot on. The quality of the leather was more than expected for the price paid. I wear gauntlet gloves to keep the wind out of the sleeves. The take-off sleeves are a great idea. Can't wait until to see how it feels. Not disappointed at all.
its a nice jacket for the price
Comment: but im 5'9 with a small belly my chest size is a 44 so i ordered the 48 don't ask why well the jacket came in on time tried it on and it fit perfect on my upper body but is a little snug around my belly, but it is still a very well made jacket. There is one problem with this jacket, the sleeves are a little long and the cuffs are not tight around your wrists, so the cold air goes right up the sleeves,so what im going to do is take it to a leather shop and see if i can get the sleeves shorter and the cuffs tighter hopefully.
Nice medium weight jacket
Comment: I was looking for an 'in between' leather jacket. This one fit the bill beautifully. The fit was accurate. The loose sleeves are OK since this is a cooler weather jacket. It is a great jacket for those all day rides where the temperature range is greater than miles ridden! Great (closeout) price. Prompt (2 day) delivery.
Warm and Sharp Lookin'
Comment: I wear a 44, but bought the 46 to be safe...fit perfectly (6'4", 240). It is nice and weighty without being overly heavy. The arms are a great length as well. I usually have to suffer through short sleeves, but not with this jacket. I did NOT buy this with the idea of using the vest-only part, but I think its a neat feature, even if it seems a bit odd to me. One last thing: it has an easy access pocket to conceal carry without it being visible to others.

Comment: I just got this jacket for my birthday. I have not used it yet outside due to the winter weather in New York this time of year, but have been wearing it around the house a little. Great quality, nicely size and yes a little bit long in the sleeve, but when I reach for the handle bars it does not ride up past my wrists. It does feel a little tight in the armpit, but that is due to the zipper and flap which I hope will be relieved it breaks in. I LOVE this jacket already.
Top Quality - Badass Jacket
Comment: If you are interested in this jacket you cannot go wrong. The quality is awesome. I wear an XL in t- shirts and I ordered the 48 and it fits me perfect. If you're looking to buy a nice quality leather jacket, don't wait any longer - THIS IS IT!!! You definitely can NOT go wrong. I highly recommend with 5 stars.
River Road Mortar Jacket Review
Comment: Jacket is well made of sturdy leather. Combination jacket/vest and zip-out liner are perfect for limited luggage space and various temperatures.
Order arrived sooner than expected.
Will definitely order again from Jafrum.
Best Answer:it has 2 upper front zipped vents and one long upper zipped across the back. I actually love this jacket. Great for the price not to mention the sleeves zip off and the inner lining as well.
This Mortar Jacket from River Road is made of very soft premium cowhide
leather. Yeah well, so are a lot of
jackets. So, what makes
this one special? Well, check this out. If you lift up these flaps on the
shoulders, you’ll expose some zippers. Unzip the zippers, and now you have a
pair of leather kid’s chaps, or some cowhide capris. Ok, no you don’t. But, you
have a vest. That’s right. The mortar Jacket is also the Mortar vest. It doesn’t
seem like that big of a deal until you realize the savings. A new top quality
leather jacket and vest separately can cost well over five hundred bucks. With
this design you get both, and when you see the price at
Jafrum, well, let’s just say it’s little.
It’s like the bullied pipsqueak of prices. Another obvious benefit to removable
sleeves is convenience. Not only do you no longer have to carry around two
separate pieces of gear, you don’t even have to swap your bring-along items from
one jacket to another. You’re going to be so spoiled.
The features of this jacket are pretty classic, and will work well with lots of
different styles of bikes. Adjustability, is facilitated by these lace up
gussets on the sides. The cuffs of the sleeves are also gusseted, to make the
jacket easy to get on and off. For added mobility, the shoulders feature these
expansion joints, and the lower back has some stretchiness to it as well.
If you unsnap the euro style collar and unfasten the all metal zipper, you will
find the removable, quilted thermal liner. This liner does a pretty good job of
holding in your body heat, and is equipped with a pocket system for carrying
your whatevers. The shell has the same pocket system for rides when the liner is
not being used. The sleeves are also lined, but the liner isn’t removable. You
have some additional storage, as well, on the outside of the jacket in the form
of these fancy hand warmer pockets.
