My wife was in the market for a lighter weight jacket o wear in the late spring and early fall time frame rather than her heavy leather one. We found this one and couldn't believe the price. She fell in love with the orange one. Based on reviews that these were not true to size, we ordered both a large orange jacket as well as an XL Red one (due to being out of stock on the XL orange). We figured we would send back whichever one didn't fit. She typically wears a large jacket and she was very happy that this large orange jacket fit just as well as her other jacket. She loves the embroidery on the front as well as the orange stitching throughout. The orange hoody is nice as well. One thing to note - when she tried on the red jacket, we noticed that the pockets to the hoody were not stitched down like the orange one. I think the red hoody had a defect. That being said, she is delighted with the fit, appearance and especially the price of the Large orange jacket that we kept!
Ordered two of these, one for my wife, and one for my daughter, and they were the hit of Christmas day. They were true to size, well made, and the detail was excellent. Jafrum as always was excellent to deal with, and i will definitely do business with them again.
This is one very nice jacket. It is comfortable to wear even with the hoody attached. It is a heavy jacket. Awesome piece of riding appearal.
I like the jacket . I would buy another when the time comes
I love the jacket-the design is cute, the sweater inside is cute BUT I am normally a 2x so knowing that these run small I ordered a 4x-It doesnt fit! According to the size chart it should be plenty big..but I cant zip it. How depressing is that! So that is the reson for the 2 stars...I cant even wear it..
I loved the Jacket, well made but had to send it back..I am short the sleeves were to long for me. :( The order came very quickly and well pkged.
Ordered red one 3xl, normally wear a 2x top and 3x bottoms, wanted to be sure would go around hips and it does! Naturally being small on top it is a little big through shoulders which is a common issue for me. Love the option of the hoodie, can't wait to wear jacket to mountains in October . It's what I expected and I'm keeping it!
Received my jacket, fits perfectly with no binding or restricted movement. Best light weight jacket I have for summer riding.
Bought for my daughter. She picked it....I bought it. She rides a street bike and normally wears XS. Based on the reviews, I got her a small. Dad was right again, lol. She loves it! Perfect fit. Nice Jacket with plenty of options:)
Love this one. As with all women motorcycle clothing size runs small. Inner hoodie is very soft and has several attachment points so it doesn't move around. In warmer weather the coat without the liner works great.
The riding jacket is nice but the size chart is not accurate. The jacket runs extra small.
I really liked this jacket, but it was too big and according to size chart it should have been good. Had to go back, but plan on re-ordering in a smaller size.
Bought this in 4x ( I wanted wiggle room) but its way too small....love the jacket style and the hoodie option!
This jacket is amazing. Purchased because Wisconsin weather can change in a moment's notice. Worn with the sweatshirt on the ride to work - 50 degrees & windy - but cool enough without the sweatshirt when it was almost 80 degrees leaving work. Love the zippered pockets as well. I don't think the size chart helped at all but I ordered a large knowing I have a difficult time finding shirts that fit my long arms. If I had gone by the size chart a small should have fit but I don't think I could have closed the small jacket. I am really very happy with this jacket. It is perfect.
Purchased an XL for my wife but that was small, then purchased a 4XL and the was small. Like others that have already left comments, its a nice jacket but they run extra, extra small.
The LJ1581 jacket is a ton of jacket for the money and is constructed using a nylon mesh shell that offers good abrasion resistance and tensile strength. Despite its lack of armor, this jacket’s precurved arm shape, double stitched seams, and riveted high stress areas make this a motorcycle jacket for sure.
The 1581 is available in 5 color ways and in sizes s-4x. Check out the size chart at the bottom of the listing to determine the best size for you. Jessica, here, is 5’8” 145, and fits in this medium perfectly.
The main closure features a heavy duty zipper and the collar is padded on the inside for comfort. The hand warmer pockets have zippered closures as well and are highlighted by charcoal colored high viz piping that stays pretty well hidden during the day but really pops at night when light hits it. The high viz piping continues onto the sleeves where you will also find a zippered vent, a neoprene stretch panel, and a zippered gusset for easy on and off.
The tribal wing design on the chest is not a patch. This design is embroidered right to the jacket and is made of a charcoal colored high viz material surrounded by embroidery that matches the particular accent color of the jacket.
The sides of the 1581 feature these stretchy panels and there is also a zippered expander at the small of the back to enhance the jackets feminine shape. The back of the jacket also features more zippered vents, high viz piping, and expandable shoulders for a comfortable fit with minimal bagginess.
Unzipping the shell exposes multiple pockets including a hook and loop style on one side and two zippered pockets on the other. This hook and loop… loop is designed to keep your headphone wire in place so that you don’t pull out your earbuds when you move around on your bike. The hooded liner you see here is fully removable, can be worn by itself, and features two additional hand warmer pockets. To remove the liner, simply unsnap the fasteners located on the sides, at the hood, at the bottom of the back of the liner, and at the cuffs of the sleeves.
