Great Jacket for an Economy Price

by - verified purchaser
I was looking for a jacket under $200 that would look good without being flashy and finally settled on this one. After receiving it, I was impressed with what I got for the price. Fit is good, a little baggy around the waist, but snugging up the waist tabs got it fitting well. I can hardly feel the armor once I have it on. With the liner in, I haven't found the need to wear anything more than a Tshirt under it yet, and I've rode to work on 40 degree mornings. With the liner out and vents open on 90 degree days, I definitely sweat at the stoplights, but it is comfortable when moving. I haven't had the opportunity to test the waterproof function yet and probably won't get many chances while living in Southern California; the closest I've come is a damp mist so far. But the material certainly feels water-resistant at the very least. Jafrum's customer service was great: I bought this and another jacket that was on closeout, intending to try both and return one. The Raider arrived within one business day, although the jacket on closeout turned out to be out of stock, so I promptly received a call alerting me while the price was returned to my card. Will definitely buy from Jarum again.

Are the outside pockets waterproof also? How do they seal? Zipper or Velcro?

Best Answer:These are zipper pockets, the pockets are water proof as well.
