Love my jacket! Nice embroidered design on the sleeve, velcro closure rather than snaps, multiple ways to adjust sleeves, waist, and neck. Lots of pockets.

Finally found a jacket that fits larger women. This jacket is very warm, have worn down to 40 degrees and was not cold at all. All the pockets and the fanny pack are awesome! The only draw back is the color doesn't have a way to secure the velcro strap if you don't want to zip all the way up, but with that, the collar keeps all the wind out really nicely.
Absolutely love this jacket! Fits wonderfully and has lots of roomy pockets for cell phone, camera, etc. Looks sharp too!
This jacket was exactly what I expected. The fit was excellent and like previous reviews I have worn it on the bike on cold nights down in the 40's and I am warm enough. I like the adjustments that you can make on the arms, so that if you decide to take the liner out you can make the arms fit more snuggly. The detail on the sleeve is a nice touch and people comment on how nicely done it is. I love the touch of pink without it being too much. The pockets are excellent, plenty of them. This summer the vents were plentiful enough that I could feel the air flowing through and was not overheated. I usually take a Medium and was pleasantly surprised that the fit is a True Size. I almost ordered a Large since things tend to run small when you order on line, but fit nicely in the size I usually take. Only drawback I have found is the collar does not go up high enough to keep wind out in cold temperatures, so I end up wearing a scarf and my hair gets caught in the velcro when putting it on or taking it off. But, small things since I like the coat so much.
Bought this jacket for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. It looked so nice on her. It's a very protective jacket as well as attractive!
Bike jackets for plus size women in Australia, that run true to size are very rare. This jacket is perfect. I admit I hesitated in purchasing due to buying something I had not tried on, but am elated to say that this fits perfectly. It is a quality jacket, and I am a very happy Aussie!
The coat is amazing, very comfortable and warm with an added removable liner. It is everything that I was looking for. No bold lettering or graphics. I like the added pink thread design on sleeves - would have preferred purple but pink works. I like the added coverage on elbows and shoulders. I would change the neck velcro strap so when your coat is zipped three quarters the stap is not left flapping. I need to buy a piece of velco and hand sew it so I can hold in down and off the face. These are small issues. I do enjoy the coat and fit.
Very pleased with my Jacket. Fits well and kept me warm and dry on a trip riding from storm Sandy. I'm a big gal in girth, 250 plus, 5'6". I ordered the plus Large, this jacket even with the liner was comfortable.
I bought this for my wife. She is busty and we were afraid it it would be to small. We went by the sizing chart and to our surprise it fit very well. This is obviously made for a woman, and she loves it. The pink piping and flame stitching are very nice, and add a nice feminine touch. The jacket is so warm she has to take out the liner if we are walking around, even on a cool day (she is cold most of the time). Being water proof saves having to carry rain gear on the bike. Over all, You will be very happy if you buy this jacket.
Comment: The coat is great very comfortable and warm with an added removable liner. It is just what I was looking for. Being a plus size gal I find the jacket to be very attractive with the gathering at the backside and the decorative stitching on the arms. I feel feminine while being warm and protected. The side Velcro works great for securing the cable from the headset in my helmet . I ordered the jacket following the measurement chart. It fit perfect, but sent it back for the next size larger so I would be able to layer if I had to. Jafrum was wonderful to work with. The jacket first purchased and dealing with the return was all done quickly. Will be purchasing from them again. Very happy.
Very stylish and very good quality. Purchased as a gift and I judged the size wrong. She just loved it except for the fit. She wants it exchanged for a smaller size. Jafrum makes exchanges very painless which is why they are my On-Line store and have been for years.
The TourMaster Motive jacket is made of a 320 denier water resistant polynylon that feels nothing like polynylon. This jacket actually has more of a soft, cotton-like feel to it. It’s a three quarter length jacket, with a two way zippered closure, making it perfect for touring. This is going to be a three season jacket. Despite the extensive ventilation, this weight of this jacket is a little too heavy for the hot weather. It’s a great choice for the rest of the year, though.
It’s available in two versions. The version you see here has black embroidery on the sleeves that is accented by gray stitching and has gray Phoslite reflective piping. The other version has pink stitching around the embroidery and pink reflective piping. Both versions are available in regular sizes six to fourteen and plus sizes sixteen to twenty. Jessica, here, is five foot eight, one forty five, and fits perfectly in the regular medium.
The motive jacket is a great combination of fashion and comfort, something that women don’t often get to enjoy at the same time. Enter the ever popular stiletto. You wouldn’t catch a guy wearing those shoes no matter how great they make my calves look… I mean his calves… look… whatever.
The adjustability of the sleeves, and the area above the waist, allow the wearer nearly infinite layering options, and the expansion joints in the shoulders promote a good amount of mobility. At the waist, the zippered gussets complete the adjustability, allowing the wearer to straddle a motorcycle without the jacket riding up. Some of the comfort inspiring features include the microfiber lined collar and the matching cuffs.
Protection comes in the way of CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows and this triple density back pad. Many riders remove these back pads because they tend to hold some of the heat in. In my opinion it’s important to always wear protection. Inside the back of the jacket, is a zippered tendon for attaching a pair of riding pants.
Storage is plentiful. There are two large cargo style pockets on the front with zippered hand warmer pockets hidden in them, and a dual zippered fanny pack on the rear. You may want to try getting your hand in the fanny pack before you put anything important in here. The openings are very small. You might put something in there and never get it back. They do make excellent vents, though, but I’ll get back to ventilation in a minute. There are also additional pockets in the liner; three to be exact, and an identical setup in the shell as well.
Ventilation is also substantial. There are vents on the chest,
on the arms,
and across the back. The fanny pack also doubles as ventilation.
The ventilation on many of these TourMaster jackets doesn’t work in the conventional way. You don’t feel a ton of air blowing on you because of the presence of the waterproof Rainguard membrane that’s sandwiched in between the shell and this mesh liner. Instead, the liner draws the vaporized sweat off of your body and the flow-through ventilation helps to extract it from the jacket, keeping you cool.
Finally, we can take a look at the main closure. The zipper is covered by this double layer flap system that uses channels to direct the water away from the zipper. With the jacket zipped up, you can fasten this collar flap to bring it all together. Unfastening the main closure, exposes the removable quilted thermal liner.
