Comment: I'm really impressed with this jacket. It is well designed and comfortable. Sizes run true as well. I like the cut of this jacket better than the Intake series as this is a 3/4 length jacket and does not ride up to my waist, it stays down over my hips. Plenty of conveniently located pockets. Plenty warm enough with both liners for 40 degree weather. No drafts. I highly recommend this jacket. The only drawback is that it weighs quite a bit.
Tourmaster Sonora Air Jacket Review
Comment: I'm a man, but bought the Sonora Air Mesh in the Hi-Vis color and Womens Large size, because, after trying on 6-7 other jackets, this one fit perfect! I'm 5'10" at 165 lbs. with dimensions of 40 chest, 32 waist, 39 hips. (My wife kindly says I have an "athletic build", but I'm just skinny. ;-)
This is the 4th mesh jacket I've owned over the decades. Quality seems excellent so far, but I've only used it a few months now in the fall/winter in Atlanta. Without the liners, it's comfortable down to 60deg, and with rain liner, down to 40deg. This is on a BMW K1200S with a slightly higher than stock windscreen. Haven't had to use the warm liner yet; and of course, haven't tested the jacket in HotLanta's summer heat yet either. It is significantly heavier than previous mesh jackets I've owned from Joe Rocket and FirstGear. Not sure why, but perhaps due to all the extra pockets, most of which I don't need and won't use as I'm primarily a commuter rider and always have a tank bag and saddle bags on my bikes. I've deducted a half-star because of this weight, and because I suspect those excess pockets may impair some air flow in the 95deg heat of summer.
