Icon Squad II Backpack
Color:Black, Mil-Spec Orange, Mil-Spec Yellow
Orange & Yellow Colorways Meet U.S. Military PPE Hi-Visibility Specifications
The Icon Squad II backpack features unique reflective upper arm straps for increased visibility. Its unique comfort-fit chest closure system allows for a greater coverage area of reflective material while also securing the backpack in a way that is far superior to standard shoulder straps when riding. But wait, there's more! The Squad II has more stuffable pockets than Winona Rider in a jewelry store. Specifically a secure 15" laptop carry compartment and a mp3 player/cell phone compartment with ear bud cord management system. In addition, port and starboard wing compartments are designed for tool and first aid storage. When off the bike, the Squad II is configured to deploy a helmet storage compartment and has several tie-down straps allowing riding jackets and gloves to be secured. All of this results in a highly-specialized riding specific pack system with the appearance of a high-attitude jump rig.

So. Many. Compartments. In all seriousness, this is an excellent backpack. The main compartment is expansive, but the whole thing can be ratcheted down to a low profile if that's what you need. Space and safety features, plus really comfortable straps. The "life jacket" connection in the front is optional, it will sit fine w/out being latched there -- but the extra security takes the weight off your shoulders. This is especially noticeable if you have a more aggressive riding style and/or more muscular shoulders.
I bought this due to the Armys Regulations and ticketing system on reflective garments and reflective belts/vests strapped onto a backpack for additional visibility on a military installation. I can fit my ACU's and my PT uniform in here with some lunch and roll as needed on post to and from work. Costs the same as the big lame reflective vests but provides far more utility and versatility. Excellent piece of gear
