These leather saddlebags are made from split leather which is the thick under part of the top grain leather. Great for couple of years of use. Not Water Proof but Water Resistant. We recommend you using some waterproofing leather cream.
No need for any mounting hardware or support brackets. Just put under passenger seat over the rear fender and tie-down to the motorcycle frame using the attached leather tie-downs on each bag. You can easily choose how high or low you want to hang the bags by adjusting the center strap. These are designed not to flop around in the wind or get into the rear wheel and also to give adequate leg space for the passenger. Each bag is treated for water resistant (not water proof).
This will look good and will fit most of the Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW motorcycles.

almost perfect!
Comment: They would be perfect if I would have measured my bike first! Overall, I love the size. I went from a scooter with alot of storage to a motorcycle with none, so I knew I had to fix that. I didn't want to spend a lot of money right now since I had just bought the bike. These are very roomy! I recommend either getting inserts, or I just keep the canvas store grocery bags in each one so I don't mess them up. This was my second order from Jafrum... they offer great value at a great price!

Comment: I purchased these saddle bags for my husband birthday. I first check with other bikers who were giving me prices over $100. I loved the bags but was not sure if it would be what my husband wanted. The bags came in two days and my husband signed for the delivery. He put the box in the corner for a day not knowing it was for him.
