These leather saddlebags are made from split leather which is the thick under part of the top grain leather. Great for couple of years of use. Not Water Proof but Water Resistant. We recommend you using some waterproofing leather cream.
No need for any mounting hardware or support brackets. Just put under passenger seat over the rear fender and tie-down to the motorcycle frame using the attached leather tie-downs on each bag. You can easily choose how high or low you want to hang the bags by adjusting the center strap. These are designed not to flop around in the wind or get into the rear wheel and also to give adequate leg space for the passenger. Each bag is treated for water resistant (not water proof).
This will look good and will fit most of the Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW motorcycles.

Comment: For the price, these are very nice bags. Shipping was fast; I ordered them on Tuesday, they came in on Saturday. The quality is very nice. The leather is nicely finished. There are plastic quick release latches under the chrome buckles that you see in the picture. They make opening and closing the bags very easy. They fit very nicely on my Sportster 883 XL. They do not interfere with the rear turn signals. They come with two tie downs, one for each side. It would be have been nicer if they had come with 4, i.e. 2 for each side. Over all, a big thumbs-up

Comment: Great basic saddle bags - no tastles, or "bling".... Just a good solid set of bags to hold stuff. STURDY!!!! I like the idea of just throwing them over the back fender when you need them. Great for holding "beverages" :)

Best Leather Saddlebags
Comment: Good looking saddle bags. Leather seems to be of excellent quality for the price you pay. I don't believe you will find a better product for anything near the price of these bags. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the bags could have been stuffed to keep their shape better after they were originally put together.
