Saddlebags for 2004 V STAR 1100 CLASSIC

Comment: Not a DIRECT fit. Had to drill one hole in bags to line up with mount points on rear fender but not a problem. Look SUPERB on my bike. A quality product indeed.

Good for the money

Comment: I bought these bags several months ago. They were not a direct fit with the Easy Brackets for my bike. Not a big deal. A couple of drilled holes later and I had them mounted. They look great and I do enjoy that they are fairly firm so I don't have to worry about them drooping or falling into themselves like the old leather bags. The only issue I have had is with the velcro that holds the flaps down in the front and rear. They are held on by small plastic rivets. Already, I have lost attachment of one of those velcro straps. I guess I will have to reattach it with something more substantial. Otherwise, I am happy with what I got for the money.

inspire 2006 Review

Comment: I purchased these bag on line and they arrived very quickly. Just a couple of days. installation was quick and easy . I would have like to see some kind of hook where you could maybe zip tie the bag to the support bracket. other then that I love them . They look great and hold their shape.

what are the straps on the bottom of the saddle bags for? there is no way to connect them anything
A shopper on Sep 25, 2014
Best Answer: It is the means of the bags to an attach point on the bag supports that keep them away from the fenders, tires and the belt or chain drive so they don't rub or flop around when your going down the hwy. You can set the orientation that you want,ie front and back are equal distance to your frame. Fred
