    Saddlebags Review

Comment: I purchased these saddlebags for my husband for Christmas. They are so nice and well made I have to purchase another pair for our other bike. They are a fantastic accessory to the bike and have added to the whole look. We will definitely purchase again from you !!

    Saddlebags for 1986 Rebel 750

Comment: Fitted these to my 1986 Rebel 450 and attached permanently to my rear luggage rack. Hard to find any to easily fit to these smaller bikes.Would also easily attach to a Rebel 250 which is a much more common model. Smaller but rigid and so well-made in this price range. Well-made, well-priced, look great. And they arrived very quickly and well-packed.

Saddlebags for Honda Rebel 250 and Rebel 450

Comment: Easy install, even on my rare 1986 Honda Rebel 450, for which not much in accessories is made. Solid, good looking, and very reasonably priced. Perfect size in medium for my smallish framed bike. Also would fit and look good on the more common Rebel 250, though maybe in the smaller size. Lockable, sturdy, weathertight. Saddlemen brand medium size liner bags fit inside nicely, also.

    Saddlebags for Sportster 1200

Comment: Bags worked great on my Sportster 1200l, holes in bags matched up with the frame bolts, had to use spacers to get by the shock. Because of the slant the bag opening is a bit small but the bags are great overall.

    Great bags for the money

Comment: The bags were shipped very fast. They were in perfect condition. The mounting hardware that was included was a bit difficult to figure out at first, but after spending some time looking and planning on how to mount, it really wasnt that bad. There are no directions to be found online anywhere i had looked, and none were included in the package. After about 400 miles with them, they still look great and are solid bags. My only complaint is that they are a tad small for a helmet, the helmet will fit but the metal support on the inside scratch the top of the helmet when inserted. I am able to put a 12 pack of beer in each bag and have some room to spare. I do not use the buckle to latch the bags, and I rely on the velcro to keep them securely closed, and it works just fine.

    Saddlebags for Honda Sabre 1100

Comment: I purchased these saddlebags for my Honda Sabre 1100. They fit great, look great, lots of storage I got the large size the single strap easy to open and close, bags are well made and great value. I used Easy Brackets which makes mounting easier. A lot of bikers are going to baggers these days. If your bagging on a budget I highly recommend these bags.

    Saddle Bag SD2001 Review

Comment: I am very well pleased with the quality of the saddlebags for the price. They are not as large as the ones that I had and I have come back to the site to order a sissy bar bag for when I take short trips to be able to carry more. They look much better than the ones that I had and were easy to mount with little alteration. I will definitely be back for more. I bought the Skidmore'swaterproofing as recommended and couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Comment: These bags are sturdy, lockable and look great on bike I went with the studded ones. The hard back helps with mounting these bags. Great value for the money.

    Saddlebags for VSTAR 650 Classic

Comment: I was surprised at the quality of these bags for the modest price. They look real good and fit well on my VSTAR 650 Classic. You have to remove the helmet lock though, if you want a good fit. Otherwise they are nice and tight.

    Inspire 2001 Saddlebags Review

Comment: These are very nice bags and a very good valule for price. You would expect to pay much more for bags of this quality. Come with strap to throw over seat or frame. I will mount them to frame of bike. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a hard bag that looks like a Leather bag.

    Ok Bags

Comment: Bags were really nice when they arrived, but after placing on bike really wasn't happy with them. The Velcro on one of the bags were missing a screw that holds it on. I bought the small size whiched turned out for the worst. After packing just a coat really couldn't get anymore in the bag so my advise to anyone go with the larger size. Overall they stil serve there purpose just not enough room to hold much.

Saddlebags for 2006 Honda Shadow Aero 750

Comment: I bought these bags in the size small because I didnt want to move my turn signal lights. When I recived them and took them out of the box I took one look and said dang these are small lol. But turns out they fit just perfect they look good on the bike. I will admit they could use a better tie down strap system but other than that they are going to be good bags. I will recomend them to friends that are looking for new bags.

    Saddlebags for 04 Sportster

Comment: Couldn't get over the quality for less than a hundred bucks, has to be the best kept secret on the internet. Shipped really quickly, serious bang for the buck. They're functional and look great on my Sporty. Bike has always gotten compliments, now there's the additional "Nice saddlebags. Where'd you get them?" Highly recommended, the quality and price are exceptional!

    Good bolt-ons

Comment: These bags are a super value, durable, and look great, but best suited as bolt-on rather than throw over (IMO). The throw over mounting function would improve with some inner side D rings so you could bungie or strap them to the bike, and throw over strap was wider for more even support. I had to fabricate some brackets from 1/8 inch sheet aluminum, but now they are on solid and look like they are factory installed - sweet deal!

    Cartersville, GA

Comment: Purchased this bag from a previous review and that review was not accurate. I have a 07 Honda 750 Aero and could not use as a throw over bag, the straps were too short. The bag can not be used as a bolt on unless you make custom brackets for the bike/bag which I did. Bags are really small but it is listed as small. A grommet fell off which holds the Velcro in place, will replace with a nut/bolt and fender washers. In spite of all this I still give it a good rating because of looks and price.

Will the SD2001 bag fit on a CMX250 Honda Rebel? I've given up on the SD4068 bag and I'm looking at the SD2001Plain (Medium: 17.5"L x 11.5"H x 6"W). It's hard to tell about these measurements because the bags are trapezoidal. I made the measurements on the Saddlebag Guide and got 16" horizontal and 16" vertical. It sure would be nice to have engineering drawings.

Best Answer: We do not have bike specific information for these saddlebags. I think they may be a little too large for the Rebel.

Which bag is right for a 2006 Harley 1200 XL Custom?
    Robert P on Apr 1, 2015
Best Answer: We do not have bike specific information for these saddle bags. You will have to measure to see if they will work for you. Measure from the top of the fender down to 2 inches above exhaust for your height. Taillight to the back of the driver seat for the length. Width will not matter as much.

My husband has a 2005 Dyna Low Rider Harley and I purchased the Saddlebags SD2001 for his bike but he can't get them on. Are these the wrong bags for his bike?
    Terri V on Jan 25, 2015
Best Answer: We do not have bike specific information for these bags. You would have to measure to see if they would fit. Turn signals to back of driver seat for length. Top of fender down to 2 inches above the exhaust for height.

You can send them back to exchange them for a different bag if they are still in new condition. I would suggest looking into a shock cutaway bag for that bike.

do these bags require saddlebag supports?
    A shopper on Jan 23, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, as a throw over. If use the bag as a bolt, you may get away without supports. Depends on how it hangs on the bike and the weight of the cargo you plan on carrying.
