Fitted these to my 1986 Rebel 450 and attached permanently to my rear luggage rack. Hard to find any to easily fit to these smaller bikes.Would also easily attach to a Rebel 250 which is a much more common model. Smaller but rigid and so well-made in this price range. Well-made, well-priced, look great. And they arrived very quickly and well-packed.

Deluxe Lockable Motorcycle Saddlebags Sizing Instructions
Measure distance horizontally from the edge of the rear turn signal to where the passenger would be aligned on the seat. Next, measure the distance vertically from the exhaust pipe to approximately two inches below the top of the rear fender. *Please remember to allow at least one inch clearance between the bottom of the saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. This will prevent the saddlebag from being damaged by touching the exhaust pipe.
Throw Over Mounting Instructions
Generally, to install throw-over saddlebags to your bike, you would need to remove the passenger seat. You would then ensure that the hook and loop connectors are firmly pressed together and secure bonding the two bags. To ensure additional stability, use the strap at the top of one saddlebag and thread through the double d-ring on the other saddlebag. Place the saddlebags on the top of your bike and adjust to how you want the bags to sit. After this is complete, re-install your passenger seat back on the bike. There are additional straps on the bottom of the saddlebags for added security and stability as well.
Hard Mounting Instructions
Visually align saddlebags to your bike (you make need a second pair of hands) to give a general idea of where bags should be placed. Attach your barrel bolts and washers to the bags and attach saddlebags to your bike with the fender bolts.

Sturdy saddle bags for under $100? These things rule! I own a honda nighthawk 2006 250cc. Being that it is both a small bike and a discontinued line makes adding accessories hard to consider. I've grown tired of lugging a hefty backpack everywhere so insert the idea for saddlebags. Now they are super easy to put over the passenger seat but because I park my bag outside I did not want to risk someone stealing it. Putting it under my seat was a challenge because of the seat mounts. But with a few adjustments to the yoke, the saddle bags fit like a dream. I opted not to get saddlebag reinforcements and to my surprise these saddlebags continue to stay on and look great. The Velcro and bolts combination helps someone new to motorcycles install these guys with ease. Eventually I want to upgrade my bike and these bad boys are definitely coming with me! Thanks Jafrum and the inspire saddle bags line. A great band for your buck :)
Purchased this bag from a previous review and that review was not accurate. I have a 07 Honda 750 Aero and could not use as a throw over bag, the straps were too short. The bag can not be used as a bolt on unless you make custom brackets for the bike/bag which I did. Bags are really small but it is listed as small. A grommet fell off which holds the Velcro in place, will replace with a nut/bolt and fender washers. In spite of all this I still give it a good rating because of looks and price.
These bags are a super value, durable, and look great, but best suited as bolt-on rather than throw over (IMO). The throw over mounting function would improve with some inner side D rings so you could bungie or strap them to the bike, and throw over strap was wider for more even support. I had to fabricate some brackets from 1/8 inch sheet aluminum, but now they are on solid and look like they are factory installed - sweet deal!
Couldn't get over the quality for less than a hundred bucks, has to be the best kept secret on the internet. Shipped really quickly, serious bang for the buck. They're functional and look great on my Sporty. Bike has always gotten compliments, now there's the additional "Nice saddlebags. Where'd you get them?" Highly recommended, the quality and price are exceptional!
I bought these bags in the size small because I didnt want to move my turn signal lights. When I recived them and took them out of the box I took one look and said dang these are small lol. But turns out they fit just perfect they look good on the bike. I will admit they could use a better tie down strap system but other than that they are going to be good bags. I will recomend them to friends that are looking for new bags.
Bags were really nice when they arrived, but after placing on bike really wasn't happy with them. The Velcro on one of the bags were missing a screw that holds it on. I bought the small size whiched turned out for the worst. After packing just a coat really couldn't get anymore in the bag so my advise to anyone go with the larger size. Overall they stil serve there purpose just not enough room to hold much.
These are very nice bags and a very good valule for price. You would expect to pay much more for bags of this quality. Come with strap to throw over seat or frame. I will mount them to frame of bike. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a hard bag that looks like a Leather bag.
These bags are sturdy, lockable and look great on bike I went with the studded ones. The hard back helps with mounting these bags. Great value for the money.
The large size is a great, very rigid bag, and roomy. Suitable for rigid mounting. Just a nice, well designed bag.
I am very well pleased with the quality of the saddlebags for the price. They are not as large as the ones that I had and I have come back to the site to order a sissy bar bag for when I take short trips to be able to carry more. They look much better than the ones that I had and were easy to mount with little alteration. I will definitely be back for more. I bought the Skidmore'swaterproofing as recommended and couldn't be more pleased with the results.
The bags were shipped very fast. They were in perfect condition. The mounting hardware that was included was a bit difficult to figure out at first, but after spending some time looking and planning on how to mount, it really wasnt that bad. There are no directions to be found online anywhere i had looked, and none were included in the package. After about 400 miles with them, they still look great and are solid bags. My only complaint is that they are a tad small for a helmet, the helmet will fit but the metal support on the inside scratch the top of the helmet when inserted. I am able to put a 12 pack of beer in each bag and have some room to spare. I do not use the buckle to latch the bags, and I rely on the velcro to keep them securely closed, and it works just fine.
Bags worked great on my Sportster 1200l, holes in bags matched up with the frame bolts, had to use spacers to get by the shock. Because of the slant the bag opening is a bit small but the bags are great overall.
Easy install, even on my rare 1986 Honda Rebel 450, for which not much in accessories is made. Solid, good looking, and very reasonably priced. Perfect size in medium for my smallish framed bike. Also would fit and look good on the more common Rebel 250, though maybe in the smaller size. Lockable, sturdy, weathertight. Saddlemen brand medium size liner bags fit inside nicely, also.
I purchased these saddlebags for my husband for Christmas. They are so nice and well made I have to purchase another pair for our other bike. They are a fantastic accessory to the bike and have added to the whole look. We will definitely purchase again from you !!
I am thoroughly pleased with these bags. They fit great and look great on my super glide custom. Great quality.
I was surprised at the quality of these bags for the modest price. They look real good and fit well on my VSTAR 650 Classic. You have to remove the helmet lock though, if you want a good fit. Otherwise they are nice and tight.
I purchased these saddlebags for my Honda Sabre 1100. They fit great, look great, lots of storage I got the large size the single strap easy to open and close, bags are well made and great value. I used Easy Brackets which makes mounting easier. A lot of bikers are going to baggers these days. If your bagging on a budget I highly recommend these bags.
Good fit, i but i modified it to sit lower on my v star 650 classic because i liked that better. I ordered medium
