No need for any mounting hardware or support brackets. Just put under passenger seat over the rear fender and tie-down to the motorcycle frame using the attached leather tie-downs on each bag. You can easily choose how high or low you want to hang the bags by adjusting the center strap. These are designed not to flop around in the wind or get into the rear wheel and also to give adequate leg space for the passenger. They are going to haul a lot of stuff and will last many years to come. Each penny you spend here is worth more than a penny !!

Comment: Bought these hoping for the best, and boy did I get it. Was suprised of the overall size. Very nice for packing items up for a nice all day ride with much room to spare. And they look great. Almost match my factory leather seat perfectly. Overall, great size and look at an awesome price. Was shocked how fast it got to me. Ordered on a monday, was installing them on my bike on thursday. I do recommend though also buying the throw over bag brace kit from HD as it did hang down and rubbed sidewall of my rear tire slightly, but the kit definitly put them outside of ever making contact again. Again, awesome buy for the price and size and look go great on my bike.

Comment: these bags fit my 05 Vstar 650 classic, they follow the contour of the rear fender perfect. These are easy to install and fit, they are holding up in the Hawaii moisture good. Will certainly look at this line if i need more.

Saddlebags for Harley Fatboy
Comment: I used Ghost Brackets to put these on my 2000 Harley Fatboy. They look and work great. Need to be a bit deeper, maybe 7.5-8" rather than 6". Basically they are waterproof also. Great bags for the $.
