I usually don't add reviews but the bags are high in quailty and appearance .A 5 star rating is an understatement. Saddlebag stays are a must for my 2004 Volusa Intruder VL800. Don't waste your $ on more expenisve bags!

Received these bags as an x-mas present. Needed to make a small adjustment to sit higher off the exhaust. Look durable and fills out the back of the bike nicely. Cant wait to put on some miles with them.
I am amazed at the quality and looks of these bags. They fit perfect on my 09 vtx1300r. I bought some velcroe straps to hold the bags down because I didnt ike the shoe strings they came with. You will NOT be dissatsfied with these bags. Well worth the money.
These bags look sharp on my 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC. Maximum size for my bike. The strap is too thick to go under my seat, so I suggest mounting brackets. To find a better set of bags you will have to add a zero to the end of the price.
This product is an incredible bargain! Ordered on Monday and had them on Wednesday! Absolutely the best deal anywhere. I'm a new customer and will be for life with quality and prices like this. Jafrum.com rocks! 2007 Honda Spirit VT750C2
These saddlebags look great and I am please with this product. I did mount them using the Ghost Brackets.
Bags fit well. They could not be any larger. I had to add more holes to adjust height and keep them off the exhaust. Great quality for the price. I'd buy them again.
I bought these saddlebags for my 2007 V-Star 650 classic. I had to modify the yoke with some additional holes so that they were far enough away from the pipes, but other than that they are great.
I read the reviews before I bought these bags and everyone said how surprised they were of the quality. So I was expecting some really nice bags and they still exceeded what I thought they would be. Very sturdy with the back being a layer of plastic I was able to cut of the straps and mount them to a bracket to fit on my 02 fatboy. They fit perfect and really nice quality.
All the reviews I read about these bags were all positive so I bought a set. The bags were as nice as was said on the reviews. The bags fit my VTX perfectly. For the money you won't find a nicer set of bags.
I just bought these bags for my Honda. They look great on my bike. They are a nice size bag. For the money I'm really pleased with them.
I just received my saddle bags by Fedex and I really like these bags they fit exactly like I hoped. I would definately buy from these Jafrum again.
Bags are better than expected. Well made, zip off with handles are great. You will not be sorry you purchased these bags.
I ordered these bags for my 2011 Suzuki Boulevard S40. They were shipped promptly and looked great when I got them out of the box. Unfortunately, they were too big for my small-frame bike. Rather then return them, I sold them (at cost) to a friend with a 2006 Yamaha Roadstar and they seemed to fit just fine.
I ordered these bags for my (new to me) 2005 V-Star 1100 Classic on Tuesday evening and received them at the office on Thursday afternoon. WOW! These bags look like I spent 3 or 4 times what I did. I read all the reviews and figured I'd return them if they weren't exactly what I was looking for. Well, there's no way these are going back! I did need to add extra holes (one row) to move them up from the pipes, but it only took me about 45 minutes to complete the entire job. I'm a newbie, so I want to ride as much as possible before Daytona Bike Week and therefore I'm riding this bike everywhere, including the grocery store. These bags will carry the groceries and all the other crap us girls think we 'need' for any ride. Thanks Jafrum, you're my new favorite store!
I read the reviews of bags on here and couldn't believe the reviews they got for the prices they are asking. I have not mounted the bags to bike yet. Although I will be using Edge Brackets to hard mount them. Just got my first bike last August, so I know very little about different kinds of bags. But after looking at bags at Iron Pony in Columbus, I am unsure how Jafrum makes any money off these bags. My brackets cost twice as much as the bags. I was SHOCKED at how solid these bags were, right out of the box. I would probably give these bags a 4.5 stars on quality. However, for the price there is NO WAY I can give it less than 5 stars.
Have these on a 2002 FLSTFI. I wasn't sure about them as I took them out of the box, but they fit the lines of the bike, and I am not disappointed in the look. The bags are made well, and well worth the money. I recomment these bags to anyone looking for a clean look for their bike.
These bags are great! I read the reviews and everyone was right. They are big, but they look awesome on my 2003 Honda Shadow ACE Deluxe. I use my bike as a commuter, so I need room for my purse and work stuff. I also need to dress warm in the morning and shed layers in the afternoon. Now I can carry my raingear all the time for those pop up thunderstorms.
What a great price for the quality of the bags! I put them on my Victory v92sc and at first tried the throw over attachment and used the shoelace type ties that came with it. I ended up taking off the throw over attachment, then removed my seat and using heavy duty zip ties I secured the bags. If you want a secure fit, don't even bother with the throw over attachment. With a little ingenuity, you will have great looking bags at a great price!
My husband was very leary about having saddle bags on his "cool" manly bike. I ordered these bags a week before our first weekend bike trip without his knowledge. When they came in he was very impressed with the quality and after making brackets for them he was pleased with the outcome. They are roomy and sturdy.
These Saddlebags are constructed using a leather-like PVC material and are available in a plain or a studded version. Each version has a separate listing on our site so be sure the item you wish to purchase is the item pictured in the listing. These are a large sized bag and measure 18.25 x 7.5 x 10.5 inches. They are perfect for large cruisers and work on many medium sized bikes as well, although some customers had to relocate their turn signals. These bags are designed to be used as either a throw over style, or a rigid mounted bag. To mount using the throw over method, simply remove your one piece seat or the passenger half of your two-piece seat and lay the yoke of the bags over the rear fender. Adjust the yoke to ensure that the bags do not touch your exhaust system. There is a layer of heat resistant fabric that has been added to the bottom of the bag which keeps the bag from melting but exhaust clearance is still needed to protect the bag's contents. In the reviews, some customers have indicated that extra holes were needed in the yoke to get the height of the bags perfect, but that adding the holes was easy. We also recommend using a saddlebag support system like saddlebag bracket A, to make sure your bags don't sag or get pulled into the wheel. Once you have reinstalled your seat, you can secure the bags to the supports using these tiedowns. To eliminate the yoke for bolt on mounting, you will need to purchase a rigid style mounting system. The back of these bags are constructed using a rigid plastic offering a variety of mounting options. These SD4068 bags are easily removed for security and convenience. Lifting this hook and loop flap exposes a zipper for easy removal, and these grommeted holes allow the bags to be locked to the yoke as a light theft deterrent. Use caution when using these locks while riding to make sure they aren't touching the paint. The carry handles are on the inside edge of the bag instead in the middle of the lid. This allows the handles to be tucked away out of site, giving the bags a cleaner look, and also makes it possible to carry both bags with one hand. The bags are held closed by these hidden, lockable quick release buckles, and a snap on the front and rear of the lid. Opening the bag exposes a flap that is designed to help keep water and dirt out of your luggage. Inside the bag, there are two low profile perimeter pockets and the semi rigid panels that help the bags keep their shape.
To answer your question about fitting,,,,I cut off the throw over straps right at the bag & hard mounted the bags myself. I knew at time of purchase this was the way I was going to go. However, I did attempt to first try the throw over style but quickly found I had the same issues as you, so I went with my original idea of hard mounting. You might want to consider doing a hard mount, if you still want them to be removiable I would suggest purchasing a quick release hardmount system.
For the Height: Measure from the top of the fender to two inches above you exhaust.
For the length: Measure between the back of the taillights and the back of the driver seat.
This should give you the size of the bags you can order.
They fit my 1983 Virago 920 perfectly. There is plenty of adjustment to play with.
I hope this helps you.
