Jafrum Saddle Bag Support Brackets Installation Instructions :
1 - Left Saddle Bag Support Bracket
1 - Right Saddle Bag Support Bracket
4 - 3” Hex Bolts
4 - 2” Hex Bolts
4 - 1 ¾” Hex Bolts
4 - 1 ¼” Hex Bolts
Warning : Failure to install this item properly may cause support failure and result in contact with moving parts on the bike. Additionally, please install when the bike has not been running and the engine is cool to avoid burn or injury.
Remove the Fender Strut Bolts one side at a time.
Choose the appropriate length bolt for your bike that does not extend past the fender further than the original fastener. If the bolt is too long, choose a shorter bolt provided in the kit. Install the Saddlebag Supports as appropriate on your bike. The offset bend should face outward from the bike and the hinge towards the rear.
Repeat step 2 on the other side of the bike.
Check to see the brackets are aligned correctly and tighten the bolts to secure the bracket to the bike.
A thread sealant is recommended to complete installation.
Periodically check the tightness of the bolts. We recommend checking after 50 miles initially and then adding this check to your regular maintenance routine.
Comment: They are Universal and should fit on most Bikes. They worked perfect on my 2005 Suzuki C50. Very good quality product at a low cost. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Comment: Not exactly sure what this is doing it was supposed to stop the bags from rubbing my frame/ getting in the tire area. Works on tire not so much on frame. It still rubs. Bolts do not fit Honda Shadow VT600. After purchasing bolts It mounted.
Saddlebags fit my Honda Shadow and my husband's Vulcan
Comment: This fit perfectly on my Honda Shadow and my husband's Vulcan. It's universal so it should fit any motorcycle. Easy installation too.
Comment: supports fit well but the bolts provided were not the same thread as on my sportster. in fact I have no idea what thread they are ,they sure are not metric or standard. after some jury rigging all went together .

It fits but. . .
Comment: The support fits but for my '01 Yamaha 1100 a different size (bigger.model) would have been better.
Saddle Bag hardware review
Comment: Hi, just wanted to add my pennies worth, Jafrum is an excellent company to deal with,I ordered the Saddle Bag hardware from Jafrum, I had 1 bracket that needed to be replaced( not Jafrums fault) I placed a call to them, described my problem, offered to send back the part, instead of shipping the part back to Jafrum, I was instructed to keep, repair, give away, or just trash the part, as Jafrum was going to replace the complete kit for free, it has been a very long time since I have been treated so well by any company, and I`m 63 plus years old, so, needless to say, Jafrum has my business from now on!!! good for virago 250
Comment: Cheapness price and does the job. It could be just a tad bigger but not a big deal. Sturdy and truly universal fit. The array of bolts are perfect. Took a bit of thinking to make it fit because of my sissy bar but worked. Thanks jafrum for another great.
Even better than expected BUT
Comment: I didn't expect such substantial hardware. Good and strong. Would be exactly what I wanted.
My issue is not with the item itself however on my bike ('94 Vulcan 500) the only 2 bolts to attach to are pretty far away from each other so I'd nearly have to straighten it out to mount it, then the support is not low enough.

Saddlebag support brackets for 950 V Star
Comment: Very easy to assemble to hold the Quick Release Saddlebags. Very solid. I like them. Worked well on the 950 V Star!
Great product, but those bolts are from outer space!
Comment: As usual the shipping was right on schedule and the product was as good as I expected. My only problem was the bolt package. None of the threads matched anything on my 03 Fatboy. Fortunately I have a large number of nuts and bolts of all sizes. All together I was satisfied and will continue to do business with Jafrum.

Saddlebag Support Bracket A For Honda 750 Shadow Review
Comment: Used support bracket on my Honda 750 shadow worked great bolts worked well that came with bracket
Not for Mean Streak
Comment: These are universal and the price was great. Unfortunately the will not work on a Kawasaki Mean Streak. I've looked at every possible way short of heating and bending them. I will be sending these back.

SD Bracket A For Yamaha 535 Review
Comment: These will work with some minor modifications to the bike, Good quality and the perform as expected.
Saddlebag support brackets
Comment: Had to return the set I ordered. Not sure what these will fit on but absolutely WILL NOT WORK ON A HARLEY V ROD. The short depth would just bearly clear the fender and provided no bag support what so ever. Allowed the bottom of the bag to rub against the rim, spokes and brake rotor. Useless on a big bike, but may be fine on a 250 or so.
Bracket A Supports For Harley Dyna
Comment: If your putting Simple Throw Over Saddle Bags on a Harley Dyna, you should use these! Keep In Mind that all the included bolts are METRIC and WILL NOT Fit Anything Harley/Victory/Indian!. The Metric Threads and Bolt Lengths are Alien! I used all of my Thread Gauges and Metric Scales and have been determined, they are Extra Terrestrial..!! Soon, you will made Best-Of-Friends at the hardware store, not Depot Centers, you will determine how many washers, spacers and do-dads that you'll need to properly mount the brackets. They Look OK, for finish(gentle wire brushing), and Work Great, Once Installed.. Once the Cosmic Puzzle was resolved, I'm Pleased and Look forward to Other's tales of their endeavor in the installation of these simple, yet effective, "A"lien Brackets!
Best Answer:Not sure about your bike specifically, but I found these supports very short and poorly fitting. I had to actually heat the metal and bend the longer arm so they would mount to my fender support bolts. You may look for something a little more bike specific.
Best Answer:I have an '07 FB. The fender bracket looks the same. The rear arm of this bracket pivots to fit a variety of lengths. Several points: (1) the angle of the mounting tabs are bent too acutely. A few seconds in a shop vice to flatten them out somewhat takes care of that. (2) you'll need 1/2 inch longer bolts than stock when mounting. (3) You may need some extra torque to break the factory Locktite.
It's a 'universal' sort of bracket set, so you can probably make it fit your bike. It worked well on my 2000 Kawi EN500 with a generic pair of small forward-tilted leather bags. Email me ( cwadsworth AT iltech DOT org ) if you want pics.
Best Answer:I put this bracket on my 07 c50 and it worked great. I'm not sure if the seat configuration for the m50 is the same. The only problem I had was that I had previously attacked a backrest, which used the same screw holes as the brackets and as a result the included bracket screws weren't long enough. I had to buy some longer ones, which was not a big deal, but made for a little frustration.
It's a universal frame, so it's absolutely worth a shot. I got this for my husband's Yamaha Maxim, he had to drill a couple of holes in the frame of his bike because there were no mount points, but the brackets work great after that little modification. I would recommend them. You can't beat the price and they are very sturdy.
Best Answer:To be honest they did not fit my Honda vtx 1300 very well. I actually modified them. Had a friend on mine make some spacers to align better. They work now but be aware you may have to modify. I wouldn't buy again. Good luck!
