Saddlebags for 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC

by - verified purchaser
These bags look sharp on my 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC. Maximum size for my bike. The strap is too thick to go under my seat, so I suggest mounting brackets. To find a better set of bags you will have to add a zero to the end of the price.

Got a new bike (to me) needed bigger bags. Keeping everything plain, no studs, etc... These are great bags at a great price. Hard enough to not collapse, holds a lot and they look good also. Pleasure dealing with Jafrum. Will continue to do so. Thanks...

Very Good quality

Very good quality. I like the extra flap under the cover that will help keep the rain out. I like how you can unzip the bag and take it off the bag, but if you want to leave it on it comes with a lock. Also the clips make it a lot faster to get into your bag when you want to. They also lock which is a nice feature. The only worry is the plastic clip breaking down the road. The delivery is really fast, only a week to get here. I checked around and I couldn’t beat the price even with the exchange. Ill be shopping here a lot more.

Saddlebags for Honda Shadow 2001

by - verified purchaser
The were easy to install on my Honda Shadow 2001. They fit great and look great. I don't get a lot of rain here and tend not to ride when it does (it is sunny 90% of the time but when it rains it is torrential.), so I cannot comment on weatherability.

SddleBag for Honda Shadow Ace

by - verified purchaser
You will not find a better built set of saddle bags than these for the price they cost! HUGE and look great on a Honda Shadow ACE.....and fit perfect. I have owned several bikes, HD's and all, these bags would cost 3 to 4 times as much if sold by Harley Davidson....they are that well constructed and look just as good hanging off the side of my bike. Built in inside pouches is a big plus. Great looking bags indeed.

Great bags for the price. The day after I got these bags it snowed on them after I rode to work. The snow caused no damage to the bags, the road conditions were a different story.

I wanted more of an OEM look (without the humongous price) for my Suzuki C50 cruiser. These bags are a close match. Very sturdy, tons of room, nice fit and finish.

Saddlebags fit my 2004 Suzuki VZ800

by - verified purchaser
These are fantastic for the price. When you get up really close and open it up to see the plastic/cardboard-like material inside that holds the shape, you can tell they aren't top of the line. And one of the studs isn't in all the way. But they look great on my 2004 Suzuki VZ800. They are very functional, I'm not afraid of anything falling out of them, and they're easy to take off/put back on at the end of a ride. I am VERY HAPPY with my purchase!

These Saddlebags are constructed using a leather-like PVC material and are available in a plain or a studded version. Each version has a separate listing on our site so be sure the item you wish to purchase is the item pictured in the listing. These are a large sized bag and measure 18.25 x 7.5 x 10.5 inches. They are perfect for large cruisers and work on many medium sized bikes as well, although some customers had to relocate their turn signals. These bags are designed to be used as either a throw over style, or a rigid mounted bag. To mount using the throw over method, simply remove your one piece seat or the passenger half of your two-piece seat and lay the yoke of the bags over the rear fender. Adjust the yoke to ensure that the bags do not touch your exhaust system. There is a layer of heat resistant fabric that has been added to the bottom of the bag which keeps the bag from melting but exhaust clearance is still needed to protect the bag's contents. In the reviews, some customers have indicated that extra holes were needed in the yoke to get the height of the bags perfect, but that adding the holes was easy. We also recommend using a saddlebag support system like saddlebag bracket A, to make sure your bags don't sag or get pulled into the wheel. Once you have reinstalled your seat, you can secure the bags to the supports using these tiedowns. To eliminate the yoke for bolt on mounting, you will need to purchase a rigid style mounting system. The back of these bags are constructed using a rigid plastic offering a variety of mounting options. These SD4068 bags are easily removed for security and convenience. Lifting this hook and loop flap exposes a zipper for easy removal, and these grommeted holes allow the bags to be locked to the yoke as a light theft deterrent. Use caution when using these locks while riding to make sure they aren't touching the paint. The carry handles are on the inside edge of the bag instead in the middle of the lid. This allows the handles to be tucked away out of site, giving the bags a cleaner look, and also makes it possible to carry both bags with one hand. The bags are held closed by these hidden, lockable quick release buckles, and a snap on the front and rear of the lid. Opening the bag exposes a flap that is designed to help keep water and dirt out of your luggage. Inside the bag, there are two low profile perimeter pockets and the semi rigid panels that help the bags keep their shape.

Just purchased these and having a hard time fitting them to my victory vegas 8ball. First issue is trying to place them under the rear passenger seat, the middle quick release system is to wide to fit. Second adjusting them to ride higher and not rub against the rear brake system is almost impossible(see issue one). I'd love to keep them and not return, it can someone help me out on install tips tricks? Thanks!

Best Answer:I have these bags on my 2010 Yamaha Raider 1900 & they are awesome !!!! They've been on for a year now, and haven't had one flaw yet, hold their shape, are very durable, & very water proof.

To answer your question about fitting,,,,I cut off the throw over straps right at the bag & hard mounted the bags myself. I knew at time of purchase this was the way I was going to go. However, I did attempt to first try the throw over style but quickly found I had the same issues as you, so I went with my original idea of hard mounting. You might want to consider doing a hard mount, if you still want them to be removiable I would suggest purchasing a quick release hardmount system.

will this fit a 2004 V Star Custom??
e j on Feb 22, 2015
Best Answer:I had them on a 2012 honda spirit. I would think they should, but the best thing I can tell you is to measure from the top of your exhaust to the bottom of your passenger seat then subtract an inch; then measure from the passenger foot rest to the back of the rear turn signal housing. That will give you measurements of what you can accommodate. Hope that helps

Will this fit a Honda Rebel?
David K M on Oct 22, 2014
Best Answer:SD4068 plain saddle bag dimensions are 18.25L X 7.5W X 10.5H. You will have to measure your bike to see. I think these may be too large for a Rebel, but i do not have the measurements for that bike.

For the Height: Measure from the top of the fender to two inches above you exhaust.

For the length: Measure between the back of the taillights and the back of the driver seat.

This should give you the size of the bags you can order.

Will these fit a 1987 Honda Shadow VT700? also, should I get the brackets too?
S A on Nov 23, 2015
Best Answer:I believe so. I used them on a 2001 A.C.E. 750. I did not use brackets, but I kind of wish I had. I tied them down with paracord to the frame and shock absorbers. They move a little at freeway speeds and do not remove easily. I think the brackets would have solved both these problems. If you do tie them down without brackets, be real sure that any movement will not reach moving parts and that the cord will not get tangled in the chain if it becomes untied. But I have had the bags for a couple of years and they still work great.

Best Answer:They should fit but if it is the first time you are using this type of bags you really should get the brackets so you can tie the bags to them to keep them from flapping around on you damaging your paint and taking the chance of them getting into your wheel

I see these lock to the bike. But, can you lock each bag so no one can get into them? Thanks!
Richard B on Apr 26, 2016
Best Answer:Yes! You can lock each bag secure. The only thing I don't like is using separate set of keys to lock/unlock the bags. You cannot use same set of keys for the frame lock.

Will this fit an 883 iron Harley?

Best Answer:The e-mail said to ignore it if I didn't know the answer, but I figured knowing what I put them on might help.

They fit my 1983 Virago 920 perfectly. There is plenty of adjustment to play with.

I hope this helps you.

Will this bag fit a 1987 suzuki 650?
April H on Dec 2, 2014
Best Answer:We do not have bike specific information for these bags. You would have to measure to see if they would fit. Turn signals to back of driver seat for length. Top of fender down to 2 inches above the exhaust for height.
