motorcycle saddlebag SD4059

Comment: they look good on my 950 v-star had to make some adjustments to mount them. one of the bags had two rivets missing on the back. I used two small bolts to keep the back panel in place.

couldnt ask for more

Comment: these motorcycle saddlebags were beyond satisfaction the leather is of excellent quality and they were easy to install on my motorcycle and i have had so many compliments on them and even had others checking into buying some too they keep their shape very well and my bike got caught in the rain and the stuff inside the bags was dry the next day so they truly are waterproof i will continue to buy all of my product needs off of Jafrum because they have earned my utmost trust and believe me when I tell you, that is not easy.

Saddlebags for ACE

Comment: I looked around for some bags I was sure that would fit my ACE with the Stock pipes and these barley cleared it. The previous bags actually rested on the pipe but it had flashing so it did not matter. They look very nice on the bike , They seem to be very sturdy and very well made. The Lock that locks the harness to the bags are a bit hard to thread while they are on the bike, but thats fine. I only wish they were a bit deeper, but I have a luggage rack anyway, so whatever. That was my fault. I would recommend them on an aesthetic basis for sure, but if you tour you definatly would want something deeper and wider.

Saddlebags fit my Yamaha Virago 750

Comment: These bags were better than expected and I'm very happy with them on my Yamaha Virago 750. The picture really doesn't do them justice. They accent the bike very well and the slanted style looks custom. There is enough room for me to keep items such as rain wear, bike cover, gloves, hats and a spare shirt. I would very much recommend these bags.

Saddlebags for Virago

Comment: Very pleased with the saddlebags. They look good, and they've kept things dry. Didn't even have to install supports because of the hard backs on the bags. I've had a number of good comments on how they dressed up my Virago.

Saddlebags fit my my Harley XL1200C

Comment: Very nice bags. Good quality and look great on my Harley XL1200C...they can be mounted with the stock taillights. They are easy to open and close; the material is not as stiff as with some bags. Arrived exactly when said. For the money I think these are an excellent buy.

Saddlebags SD4059 For Softail Slim

Comment: These are some attractive saddlebags that seems to be sturdy and durable. They do come with a life time warranty. I would have love to have been able to use these bags on my bike. However, I was unable to make them work on my 2013 H-D FLS Softail Slim as throw-overs, mounting them under the solo rider and passenger pillion seats. The throw-over yoke was a little too wide and too thick. Also, for softails, you will need to use saddlebag supports.

Fast and Fantastic! Saddlebag for Honda 600 VTX

Comment: Wow! It was no lie. Fast and Fantastic! They look great on my Honda 600 VTX, quality was really beyond what I expected. One other point, as a female biker, my purse goes inside the bag easily, and I have gear in the bottom as well.

Great Saddlebags fro 09 Street Bob

Comment: I bought these bags off the review of another fellow biker. I'm not disappointed with their review. I have an 09 street Bob they fit perfectly. I had to modify them for my particular bike because I have a luggage rack. I made a small slit in the leather that connects the two bags to fit around my luggage rack, laced the slit back together with the nylon rope provided with the bags and I'm beyond satisfied. The price point is great for a blue collar worker like me. They were originally a $250 set of bags and I paid $75 are you kidding me $75 go to Harley you'll pay $750. They're lockable and removable for security. I'm so satisfied with jafrum and their service I've recommended them to every biker I know. If you're looking for great bags at a great price these are the ones for you.

Saddlebags for 2013 Harley 883 Iron

Comment: I purchased these for my 2013 Harley 883 Iron. They look excellent. People ask me all of the time where I got them and who makes them. It looks like they were designed to perfectly match the 883 Iron with the gray edges matching the gray strips below the heads of the blacked out motor. I couldn't be more satisfied. They are even waterproof and keep my stuff safe and dry. I would highly recommend these bags for their top quality and excellent looks. Thanks Jafrum.

Saddlebags for 750 Yamaha Virago

Comment: Ordered to fit my 750 Yamaha Virago. These are a perfect fit for a sub-1000cc bike. They took me about 15 minutes to install and look fantastic. Several bonuses; I did not count on them coming with locking buckles (they do) or that they would come with the long shackle locks needed to secure the bags when parked (they do). The bags perform well and the tie downs are in good places to secure the bags to the bike. I've had them on about a month now and I consistently get comments about how good they look on the bike. Order shipped promptly and arrived sooner than promised. This was my first experience with Jafrum and given some mixed reviews I read on the internet, I was a little worried. Jafrum earned my respect and my repeat business with the quality of the product, the price paid and the speed at which my order was received. I'll be ordering from Jafrum again!!!

SD4059 with Studs Saddlebags Review

Comment: Bags arrived 3 days after ordering. Quick shipment. Bags are sturdy, attractive, and well-made. Installed in less than 30 minutes with saddlebag supports that make them really secure. Love the lock features that lock the bags to the yoke which is now under the seat, and lock the bags themselves. Not heavy-duty theft prevention, but will certainly encourage would-be thieves to look elsewhere when they can't get to what's inside in a couple of seconds. Highly recommend these bags. Have told my family to purchase gift cards from Jafrum when that's what they decide. Jafrum is now my go-to motorcycle supply place. Quite satisfied with my purchase. Thanks, Jafrum.

2002 Dyna Lowrider perfect fit

SD4059 For My Honda Goldwing 1978

Comment: When these came in, they didn't quite fit with my particular bike. They leather strap that held the two bags together didn't allow my seat to be fastened down and I had to move my rear signal lights back further to make room for the bags. Honestly, I blame the type of seat I have rather than the bags themselves. The bags look amazing and I've had many complements on them already! If you were planning on buying this I would strongly recommend double checking the specifications on your bike so that you don't spend a couple hours trying to get them to fit like me! Also, a few side notes: After moving them around a bit, some of the stitching on the bags started to come loose but not enough for it to be a problem, the inner plastic sides of the bags will scratch if you're not careful putting them on but hey, they're bound to get scratched anyway. I've only ridden with them a couple of times so I'm not quite sure how they handle under excessive weather conditions but so for they're doing their jobs!

What size are these bags? D on Nov 24, 2014
Best Answer: These are pretty good size ( see specs) to carry the necessities such as extra glasses. rain wear a few tools and leave one bag free for important things like a six pack on the way home. They are very nice for the price and look good. I have a Kawasaki 900 custom and they look good on the bike. happy with my purchase as I wanted a "medium bag" size but with good storage and these are great.

Will these bags fit a helmet?
Andrea F on May 18, 2015
Best Answer: Not unless it is a REALLY small 1/2 helmet. They're only about 7" deep so there is no way they will accommodate a regular helmet.

These medium sized saddlebags are made of a durable, leather-like PVC material, are black with gray trim, and are highlighted by chrome plated nickel studs and decorative braiding. Each bag is slanted and measures 14 inches x 10.5 inches x 6 inches, making them perfect for medium to large cruisers. The slanted design works great on machines with limited luggage space due to turn signal location or externally mounted shock systems. These bags have a waterproof design, although they do not come with covers, so if you're putting valuable items or electronics in your luggage, it's always a good idea to use waterproof liners or covers with taped seams in addition to the bags themselves. These bags are throw-over in design so mounting is easy. Once you have your saddlebag supports installed, you simply remove the bike's passenger or one piece seat, lay the bags over the rear fender, adjust the yoke to get perfect bag placement, and replace the seat. These cords here on the perimeter are perfect for tying to the brackets to stabilize the bags. These bags are easily removed by simply exposing the zippers and zipping off the bags. For a light theft deterrent, grommets have been added to allow the flaps to be secured with one of the included locks. It's probably a good idea to use these locks only while parked, to make sure they don't scratch your paint while you're bumping down the road. These bags also have a very rigid panel on the backside. So, if you want to eliminate the yoke and mount these bags permanently you can, although this would be a completely custom install so no directions are available for the installation process. I like the carry handle design on the 4059's. They've have moved the handle away from the middle of the lid to the inside edge, which cleans up the look of the bag and allows the rider to carry both bags with one hand. They've even added these little flaps to protect the bag from its own hardware. The bottoms of the bags feature a heat resistant panel that works incredibly well to protect your saddlebags and their contents. Remember, though, you still want to keep a minimum of about an inch of space between the exhaust and the bag, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust. Most aftermarket pipes come with far less heat shielding than OEM exhaust systems and even though your bags may stay intact, you can still damage your bag's contents. The SD4059 Saddlebags feature lockable, quick release buckles hidden beneath classic style metal buckles. Opening the bag reveals the snap down element barrier, and beneath it you can see the two low profile perimeter pockets and the rigid corrugated construction.
