Only had it 20 hours some thief stole it off of bike while I was in Walmart last January. Had the bag only one day. So they must have thought dang thats nice just ordered new one this weekend. I have an old one used for years and loved it would be 5 stars if straps were bit sturdier.
Excellent service and the product was great!
I ordered this bag after deciding my previous bag didn't hold enough. I have not used the bag, but out of the box I was pretty impressed with it's construction and size. The expanding zippers will make this bag work for short or longer trips. When I make my next trip, I will update this.
I've yet to try this item, but will in July on a road trip. Only problem I have seen is the zippers are not a smooth feel when opening. Also 2 of the side pocket zippers, although in closed position were open. I unzipped then zipped back up and appear to stay closed. I'll find out when I take my trip. Other than that, Sharp looking bags.
This is a better quality bag than I expected. Its large enough to hold items for weekend trips. I love the looms of the bag. My one complaint is that the zippers are a little rough to open. I'm hoping with wear that changes.
"Excellent product. Shipment arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Have done business before with Jafrum and will again. Thanks"
I purchased this recently to add to my other luggage for long trips as it was on sale at a great price. The bag looks like it will do exactly what I need. It give me more storage capacity that is very flexible. It will also be great for day trips when I need to take some gear but want it to be handy to get to.
"I like having a good bag for my bike, I found this bag and use it"
Great set of bags. Good size for long trips. Easy to put on, and stay put. Definitely recommended for someone looking for a great looking and functional sissy bar bag.
I ride a burgman 400 so when riding solo putting this bag on passenger seat and strapping 4 straps through the passenger hand grips it is very secure. Nicely mabe roomy, my only improvement would be sdescription mentions using as backpackband no way I can use it over my sh2 shoulders andbi nowvweigh 163, much less yearvago when I was 342, so maybe add shoulder straps more user friendly forbthat purpose.. but on bike bag be Mahvalous
Very nice bag. High quality, couldn’t beat the price even with exchange. Very fast delivery. I’ll be shopping here a lot more.
Tthe SB1PU is hard to beat, its big, weather-proof, versitile and has solid zippers(w/ a loop lock). If you need a bag for occasional weedend or day trips don't waste your money buying anything else.
very satisfied with the purchase
I have a Suzuki Blvd. The bag fit perfectly. It looks great and has more than enough room. highly recommend this product.
Ordered the bag on Tuesday and it arrived Wednesday. Very pleased with the quality and flexibility of strapping system. I need a longer strap to fit around the rear luggage carrier on my Can-Am Spyder RT , no sissy bar-- no problem, the bag came with an extra set of buckles. Jafrum will definitely be my number one source for future gear.
Haven't used yet but well satisfied with construction and can't beat the price. Came w/o cover and Jafrum email replied on a weekend, it promptly arrived 2 days later. Great people to deal with.
Received the traveling bag in a very quick time. Very satisfied with the quality construction. More bag than I thought it was. Great deal for the price.
This bag is easy to install and has good usable spaces. I had a larger bag but this is just the right size. My full face helmet is XXL and is a tight fit but it does go in. I have attached the extra small bag to the luggage rack and have tools and other small items in that. All in all this was one of my better purchases.
Planning a cross Canada trip in 2015 and saw this on sale. Even with the customs I had to pay it was well worth the price. It's well made, allows me to pack a lot and I can add a roll bag to it later. Can't go wrong with this product.
Sissy bar bags are a great way to add a very large amount of easily removable storage to your bike. There are numerous different sizes, materials, and mounting options available, so there is sure to be one to suit your needs.
This is the water resistant polyurethane version of the SB1 style bag and is available in black. The exact measurements of the bags are located in the product listing. This amazing value includes the top roll bag and a full coverage rain cover at no additional charge.
The most important thing to remember with motorcycle luggage, especially sissy bar bags, is that there really isn’t a wrong way to mount them. These bags come with a ton of mounting options, some of which you may not be able to use on your particular motorcycle, and that’s ok. You may even come up with an arrangement that the manufacturer hasn’t even thought of. Basically, if the bag is secure, it’s mounted correctly.
The main component to the mounting system on the SB1 PU is the lace up sleeve. Simply fit this sleeve over the backrest and tighten and you’re most of the way there. There are numerous straps and clips covering the outside that can be used however necessary. They can be used for mounting the bag to the bike or for mounting additional items to the bag. The only limitation is your imagination. I like to use them to secure frequently used items, like raingear, an extra sweatshirt or vest, or even a tent to the luggage for easy access.
If you use a luggage rack, take note of the weight capacity of the rack. If your gear is over the weight limit, no big deal. Mount the bag backwards and set it on the seat. Depending on your riding position, you may have just created yourself a comfy little rider backrest.
To mount the supplementary roll bag simply feed the mounting straps through the roll bag straps and connect using the buckles. The cool thing about this strap system is that you don’t have to put the roll bag here if you don’t want to. It’s also the perfect spot for your bed roll or sleeping bag. Still need more room for even more junk? Not to worry. The main bag expands to almost 200% of its original depth by unzipping this full circumference zipper. The outside of the bag features four additional zippered pockets for smaller items. The top pockets are fitted with straps for hanging items you want easy access to.
One of the features this bag doesn’t have that some riders like is an internal frame of some sort to make the bag rigid. There is actually some benefit to this in certain situations. I often find that I return from trips with way more stuff than when I left, especially if I have visited with friends or family. Because this bag has no internal frame, it can be rolled up and stowed in a saddlebag until it’s needed. If you prefer a rigid bag, but don’t want to spend upwards of three hundred dollars to get one, simply place a small rectangular container like a garbage can inside the bag to create a rigid sissy bar bag.
Another feature included with this piece of luggage is the complementary rain cover. It rolls up small enough to fit into one of the small exterior pockets but is large enough to fit over not just the bag but almost anything you may have attached to the outside of it. If you don’t have anything on the outside of the bag to fill up the cover, be sure to wrap some bungies of some sort around the cover to keep the wind from tearing it up. I personally like to use two opposing cargo nets. It’s ugly, but it works really well.
I am doing a 16 day tour in July on my kawasaki voyager 1700, 2014.normally plenty of room but I am looking for a little bit extra. Looks as if all the straps could go either under the passenger seat or through under the top Bo's and around the frame. Anyone fitted this bag to this type of bike?
