"great pants"

by - verified purchaser
"|The pants are a great looking safety and warmth pants for riding motorcycles and/or scooters. It would be nice if you could keep your shoes on before putting the pants on, and it would be awesome if they could come in a color other than black. But these are small quibbles. All in all, a great product, and one that I would recommend.

"These pants are exactly as described. Just like other reviews, the sizes are exact so if you want to put them over your jeans, get one size larger. Good Fit and Comfortable. Also, the Seller did a great job."

Great Pants

Pants work great for riding in the Rain. I have noticed that the legs tend to ride up a little when I put my feet up. a under the boot strap to hold them down would be a nice feature. Other than that I have not had any issues.

Wrote a review a while back. Seem sealed liner does not zip out. Jafrum may have actually read it because they changed the description. Awesome, way to use your feedback. I think it shows this is a quality place to get my gear. Thanks 4 listening.

Great for cold weather

by - verified purchaser
These pants are great! I recently rode from south Florida to an area close to Atlanta, GA. Temperatures along the way dipped into the mid 40's, but with these pants, and a lined rain jacket, I stayed warm. Even a little rain did not get through. I highly recommend these pants for cold weather riding. They are a little bulky, and I zipped out the liner, but they did the job.

LP2821 Motorcycle Pants Review

by - verified purchaser
Great quality material used in these pants, though there are a few odd sizing quirks. The crotch is very low in the pants, which is fine when standing up, but when sitting on a bike (especially in town with feet on the ground) this causes the pant legs to ride up and expose the ankles. Not a huge deal as they are still good for long rides. Very warm and windproof, rode comfortably at highway speeds down to 35 F. Overall good deal for $xx.xx

Ésta calça é espetacular para a próxima viagem em maio ao Uruguai pois protege da chuva, e do frio, além dos reforços para casos de quedas. Confortável e excelente custo benefício.

They're ok

They fit well. They're comfortable. The stitching hasn't lasted n i continue to keep sewing sections. Not water proof at all....ur wearing a sponge. As far as protection, they may get u buy. No kevlar, but do have some pads.

The pants were as described. They are heavy duty with removable liners. Just remember you will have to take your shoes off to pit them on is the only bad part.

Motorcycle Overpants LP2821 Review

by - verified purchaser
Order a size or two bigger than your normal pant size. Theyre waist adjustable and are warmer than I imagined. My first ride with them had been in 41F temp. I was sweating!!! The liner does come out for a cooler ride and the armor is pretty descent as well. Only thing I would like to see is more reflective material.

Motorcycle Overpants LP2821 Review

by - verified purchaser
Ordered pants from Jafrum and they came in a reasonably short time. Ordered by the size chart and they fit good. at first I thought the came up a little high, but being water proof I realized it was a very good Idea. I bought some suspenders to make sure they stayed up and were comfortable. The only critical thing I have to say is the armor in the knees rub a bit. I have to keep bending it to fit my knees a little better. A little more padding on the inside of the knee ares might help for more comfort. Overall fairly comfortable.

The LP2821 Riding Pants is one of the best values in riding pants you’ll find. Similar name brand pants can go for more than three times the money. They’re made of a high grade, water resistant poly-nylon blend with reinforced ballistic panels in the knees. They come in black and are available in sizes extra small thru five-X. and are sized to be worn as regular pair of pants. If you would like to wear these as overpants, measure your waist while wearing whatever you plan on wearing under your riding pants. Billy B.A., here, is 5”10”, 160, with a 32” waist, and is wearing a size medium with no jeans on underneath and the liner installed.

They’ve really nailed the feature design on the 2821’s. This pant design accommodates all different shapes of riders and different riding positions, as a result of the belt adjusted stretch panels on each side of the waist, as well as the stretch panels in the upper seat and the knees.

They have also done a very good job of keeping the water out, despite the lack of waterproof zippers. The main closer is protected on the outside by this combination snap and hook and loop cover flap. Inside the zipper is a gusset that’s waterproof thanks to the taped seam liner that is found throughout the pants. On either side of the fly, are flap protected zippered pockets for storage.

The zippered gusset design can also be found at the cuffs. This feature’s simplicity really helps keep the water out and the price down, but the lack of a full leg closure makes this model less suitable as an over pant, because they are going to be pretty tedious to get on and off with jeans on.

Protection is also ample on the 2821’s. There is memory foam padding in the hips, CE approved armor in the knees, and reflective piping for added nighttime visibility. On the back of the pants, a zippered panel has been added to allow the pants to be attached to your riding jacket. This helps to keep the skin of your lower back covered and protected in a crash.

Inside the waist, you can see the zipper for removing the quilted thermal liner. To get the liner out, you will also need to unsnap the liner at the cuffs.

Great textile pants for cold weather riding for the price . Liner is easy to take out and they become wind & rain barrier . Buy one size larger to use as overpants . Jafrum needs to add a couple inches to the inseam .

I saw multiple reviews of these textile pants referring to "Leather Pants". Makes me wonder if I didn't just wasted a fair bit of my time combing thru the reviews and weather I can really trust any of these site reviews. ?

Best Answer:I bought 2 Jafrum textile pants with CE armor they are textile pants they are not leather pants . They are a great pants for the price and warm . I bought a size larger because i use them as overpants . The only thing is that i wish is that Jafrum would increase the length of the inseams . A large Waist 34 should have an inseam of 32 to 34 , the rest of the pants are great . Hope i was helpful .

The size chart on the webpage is different than the one on the video. Which one is correct? For ex. M is 34-36 however on the chart in the video that would be a L. I need. 34 x30. Which should I get?

Pls verify.

Best Answer:I normally wear 34x30 pants. I ordered the XL because I wanted to be able to wear these over my riding jeans. The XL work well. They are a little bulky, but definitely keep you warm. I wear them without the quilted liner, over my jeans or tactical pants. I live in Florida so I don't use them much, but a couple rides to Georgia and the Carolinas in 40 degree weather required a little more warmth. These worked well.

I wear a 34W pants. But when I measure my waist, it is a 36W. And my riding pants are a 34 Inseam (I wear an extra long inseam to keep my pants firmly over my boots) -- I want these cycle pants to go OVER my jeans. Should I order a Large 36-38 or a Medium 34-36? Thank you
Anthonasio on Jul 13, 2015
Best Answer:I would go with the Large to get the extra inseam length. You are still a couple inches shy of the 34 you need in the inseam. Large inseam is 31

Do you have any riding pants that have heat protective leg areas so they don't burn on the mufflers?
