Very well made and with excellent features for the money. Sizing is spot on. The liner is VERY warm, save that for Winter riding. Look to be comparable to gear costing three or four times as much. Buy these!

I've put 3000 miles and 8 months of riding on these pants and they are holding up extremely well. I've also had the displeasure of low-siding my bike at around 20 mph while wearing these pants - the armour worked beautifully and the textile held together - not a scratch and no soreness. This is a great value.
These by far are great pants. Worth 2-3 times as much. I bought a pair for myself & my pillion, my wife! These will make our out of town rides a warm one. Will also work in NY.
my wife and I just got back from a 9700 mile trip across the country and these were the pants that both of us purchased. So that being said, I wore these pants all day every day for a month straight. On our trek we went through a huge range of weather from over 100 degrees in death valley and then frigid mid 30s going over tioga pass in Yosemite national park. We also drove through a few torrential rain storms (one day we drove 350 miles in solid rain) as well as a blizzard on the way home. Needless to say, we were hot, cold, wet and just all of the above throughout our trip. Now for the actual pants: I am 5'11", 175 lbs, 33" waist normally and I wore an XL which were wide in the hips but fit pretty decent. My wife is normally a 6/8 and she got the L which were long and wide on her, but still worked fine. Things that broke: When I first got my pants, I put them on and tried to tighten them with the waist straps and when I did, the strap tore right off of the pants. I returned them and got a new pair pretty quickly. first day of our trip, the ankle cuff clasp tore on both of our pants. Half way through the trip, the same left waist strap that broke on my first pair broke again. lastly my zipper broke off as well. Performance: As far as warmth is concerned these pants with the liners in do a pretty good job of keeping you warm. When you are riding in the warmer temps, these pants are extremely lacking in ventilation and tend to be uncomfortably hot and sticky. In a light rain, these pants do just fine. In a down pour, these do fine for a while until the rain saturates the pants and it soaks through. they are "waterproof" not gortex. However, they do dry out fairly quick at highway speeds since they are textile. Overall thought: I think these pants are just ok. Yes they did work for us on our trip. Knowing what i know now about them would I buy them again for the same trip? Yes If I was on a tight budget, No if I really wanted a quality pant. These are great if you are ok with so-so quality and knowing that they are going to break somehow. Hope this helps!
Have only rode three time with my new pants, in temps below 35, I was nice a warm all day.
pants are ideal for riding to work and home.
I just got my pants in and they fit perfectly over my regular pants...of course the weather has gotten better in Georgia so I won't be wearing them much now but next fall and winter I'm sure I'll be enjoying them! Nice quality, fit, and finish. I wear size 40 pants and ordered the 5X size, they are just the right size so don't be afraid to order thebigger size!
Bought these pants last year and so glad i did. I was riding to school today and rode threw Rain/Sleet/Snow/Rain again. These pants kept me dry and warm
Great pants fit perfect! Ware them over jeans for early morning ridding. Very warm, had to remove the linning they were to hot. Ordered one size larger than I normally ware to put on over jeans fit great! Fast shipping ordered on Sat night revieved them on Tuesday! Thanks!
I live in the Pacific North West, it rains here all the time, winter temps are around 30-40 degrees. These pants kept me warm at freeway speeds in 30 degree weather, when the rains came they kept me dry & warm. I'm going to get another pair for my wife. You cannot get anything better for the price.
Very warm. Ordered my actual pant size and I am very happy with the fit over jeans. Must remove shoes to put on or take off. Zippers at the cuffs are fine and bind with inner material. Pockets are difficult to access due to large zipper. They should swap the zippers between the pockets and pant legs and all would be well. Great value overall. Would recommend with no hesitations
Great price fast shipping. Pants quality is very good, I wear 32x34 jeans and ordered a size large, they are a bit baggy should of ordered a medium.
I'm very happy with the pants I got. Excellent fit and amazingly quick shipment. I will definitely be telling my friends about this site and their wicked service!!!
I was so impressed that I ordered a second pair for myself, a pair for the wife and a pair for the son. I've found these pants warm (even without their insulated liner) as well as waterproof in drizzeling rain as well as heavy pouring down rain! I'd recomend these to my friends as well as just aquaintances I come across on the road. Don't think you could find a better pair of pants for the money, not failing to mention their style and construction.
I have to say overall I am happy with the pants. They do a good job at keeping you warm in colder weather and dry in the rain.
I like the pants have not had a chance to ride yet. So can't really tell how they are in the cold, but are well constructed and fit well. Great company to deal with, no problems at all!
My husband was delighted with this Christmas gift. The quality is excellent.
I ordered on a Sat and rec'd Tue. Shipping times are outstanding. This product was as promised. I rode in 30 weather for over 5 hrs and was comfortable. They are a little bulky but I would rather deal with a lillte bulk than freeze my butt off! I ordered the size up so I could wear over my exsisting jeans.
I ordered a pair this past spring and didn't have much of a reason to try them out until this fall and I've been wearing them almost daily since early October here in Arkansas. I've taken out the insulated liner and have found that I'm comfortable down into the 30's with the pants! I've worn them as low as 19 degree and as warm as the lw 70's and have been comfortable and not overly warm during the highest temps. Not failing to mention that they are waterproof, found out via experience on more than one occasion. Makes it nice that you have a pant that is not only armored but also waterproof and warm! I liked them well enough that I bought my wife and my son a pair for this past Christmas and a extra pair for myself.
I just bought my second pair of these for weight gain. I wear 48 jeans and these fit over them. Great for riding or any other cold, wet outdoor activity. I would compare to military quality. I wish Jafrum would offer matching jacket.
The LP2821 Riding Pants is one of the best values in riding pants you’ll find. Similar name brand pants can go for more than three times the money. They’re made of a high grade, water resistant poly-nylon blend with reinforced ballistic panels in the knees. They come in black and are available in sizes extra small thru five-X. and are sized to be worn as regular pair of pants. If you would like to wear these as overpants, measure your waist while wearing whatever you plan on wearing under your riding pants. Billy B.A., here, is 5”10”, 160, with a 32” waist, and is wearing a size medium with no jeans on underneath and the liner installed.
They’ve really nailed the feature design on the 2821’s. This pant design accommodates all different shapes of riders and different riding positions, as a result of the belt adjusted stretch panels on each side of the waist, as well as the stretch panels in the upper seat and the knees.
They have also done a very good job of keeping the water out, despite the lack of waterproof zippers. The main closer is protected on the outside by this combination snap and hook and loop cover flap. Inside the zipper is a gusset that’s waterproof thanks to the taped seam liner that is found throughout the pants. On either side of the fly, are flap protected zippered pockets for storage.
The zippered gusset design can also be found at the cuffs. This feature’s simplicity really helps keep the water out and the price down, but the lack of a full leg closure makes this model less suitable as an over pant, because they are going to be pretty tedious to get on and off with jeans on.
Protection is also ample on the 2821’s. There is memory foam padding in the hips, CE approved armor in the knees, and reflective piping for added nighttime visibility. On the back of the pants, a zippered panel has been added to allow the pants to be attached to your riding jacket. This helps to keep the skin of your lower back covered and protected in a crash.
Inside the waist, you can see the zipper for removing the quilted thermal liner. To get the liner out, you will also need to unsnap the liner at the cuffs.
