"Have had these pants for the last 2mths right in the middle of our winter... excellent warmth and water proofing spent two hours on a freeway bucketing down with rain... stayed warm and dry...... only problem is the lining rips away from the shell very easily around the cuffs at the bottom... but for $50 US I can't complain... I reckon I will get at least 3 more winters out of them..."
"Good fit . The girlfriend and I tried them (went for a short test run) and found them to be comfortable."
"I live just north of Victoria, British Columbia and the area I live in qualifies as a rainforest for a reason. We can get rain every day for a month sometimes. I tested these pants and they kept me warm and dry -Despite a minor rip in the material holding the liner in the left pantleg I love these so much I will be buying another pair for my wife. Incredible bargain."
"Well made product at a very fair price. Warm and comfortable."
"Bought 3 pairs for our teenage riders. Fit true to size. Zip out waterproof liner and air vents is perfect for comfort riding no matter what the weather."
"These pants are strong & will keep you warm in cold weather. I rode 4 hrs in sunny 34 degree weather fine. The weak point are the ankle strings that fasten the liner to the shell. Taking-off your pants, they will break easily if you try to ram your foot out rather than nudge it out. All-in-all a very good product considering the price."
"These are great pants , I live in SC and bought these about a week before Christmas. They didn't fit, I ordered a replacement pair and received them with in 3 days. They kept me warm on our New Years day run.Jafrum is a great company to deal with."
"Pleasantly surprised of just how warm these pants are. You wear them with the detachable liner and go from the outside cold into a building and it won't take long for your legs to sweat. Absolutely satisfied with this purchase"
"I have not worn them in the rain yet but did ride on a 27 degree morning in total comfort over jeans. The quality seems great for the price. They're cut a bit long but are fine with boots."
"These came in today and I had a chance to wear them in 50 degree weather. I had read others say they were comfortable in the 40s with out the liner. They were right! coming home tonight 50 degrees, dark, and damp. Definitely worth twice what you pay for these. Jafrum, you have a very satisfied customer."
"These can't be beat for the money! Decent padding, including in the thigh area, and armor that feels solid enough for a slide. They are true to size. Feel very warm and versatile, can't wait to wear them!"
"I work in an office and showing up in jeans or keeping a spare set of clothes at work just doesn't cut it. These pants are warm (autumn riding), slip well over dress pants/boots, and enable me to show up ready for the work day. Love having durable pants that can take abrasion better than jeans, and was struck with the design (hook-loop covering zippers), removable liner, and aggressive pricing. Jafrum is now on my short-list of accessory suppliers."
"This product is great, great price, will definitely keep you warm. I live in Alaska, I wear them on early morning and late night rides. I also have worn them in a rain storm, it kept me dry. I would recommend this product to anyone."
"TOTALLY in love with my purchase!"
"I just did 300 miles in 43 degrees and rain. I was wearing these pants and they passed the test."
"Quality better than expected. Super fast delivery!"
"Great, warm pants. Easily fit over work slacks for commuting without fear of abrasion or stains from leather. Remove liner at 40 degrees or they get too warm very quickly!"
"Excellent as described fit comfortable and well made. Definitly worth the money."
"Product exactly as described. I am really happy with the purchase and will use again. Thanks!"
The LP2821 Riding Pants is one of the best values in riding pants you’ll find. Similar name brand pants can go for more than three times the money. They’re made of a high grade, water resistant poly-nylon blend with reinforced ballistic panels in the knees. They come in black and are available in sizes extra small thru five-X. and are sized to be worn as regular pair of pants. If you would like to wear these as overpants, measure your waist while wearing whatever you plan on wearing under your riding pants. Billy B.A., here, is 5”10”, 160, with a 32” waist, and is wearing a size medium with no jeans on underneath and the liner installed.
They’ve really nailed the feature design on the 2821’s. This pant design accommodates all different shapes of riders and different riding positions, as a result of the belt adjusted stretch panels on each side of the waist, as well as the stretch panels in the upper seat and the knees.
They have also done a very good job of keeping the water out, despite the lack of waterproof zippers. The main closer is protected on the outside by this combination snap and hook and loop cover flap. Inside the zipper is a gusset that’s waterproof thanks to the taped seam liner that is found throughout the pants. On either side of the fly, are flap protected zippered pockets for storage.
The zippered gusset design can also be found at the cuffs. This feature’s simplicity really helps keep the water out and the price down, but the lack of a full leg closure makes this model less suitable as an over pant, because they are going to be pretty tedious to get on and off with jeans on.
Protection is also ample on the 2821’s. There is memory foam padding in the hips, CE approved armor in the knees, and reflective piping for added nighttime visibility. On the back of the pants, a zippered panel has been added to allow the pants to be attached to your riding jacket. This helps to keep the skin of your lower back covered and protected in a crash.
Inside the waist, you can see the zipper for removing the quilted thermal liner. To get the liner out, you will also need to unsnap the liner at the cuffs.
